Sleeparchive returns for another intense year’s end live set. One of the most innovative artists in modern techno, Sleeparchive is a sort of post-90s electronic deity with a penchant for the future. Joining the Tresor label in 2011 with “Ronan Point” (Tresor.243) and on to “A Man Dies On The Street” Pts. 1 & 2 (Tresor.260/264), Sleeparchive’s music is just as hazy, deep and full of shady nuances that, like treasure, only appear if you’re willing to keep probing. Serbian artist Nikola Grebovic aka Scalameriya and Berlin-based Italian artist Francesco Visconti aka VSK join forces tonight b2b on the Tresor decks. The two techno artists have become steadily prolific over the past five years with their own production and label work. Scalameriya runs the Genesa Records imprint, while VSK is a co-founder of Consumer Recreation Service Recordings. Haka, released in 2016, is their second collaborative effort, following 2015’s Codex EP for Power Vacuum. Irakli Kiziria is a Berlin-based DJ, manipulating drones and hypnotizing people as the ½ of the unit I/Y. Spanish artist Allesandro Gaja debuted in 2013 on Repitch, and records also on the Ophism Record label, focused on releasing rusty, live recorded analogue jams of underground acid techno, electro and lo fi synthesizer music. Gaja’s releases on Ophism include “Nanook”, “Money Create Taste” and “Slaves Of The Future”. In Globus: Outis label head and returning live artist Dino Sabatini is also a member of Dasha Rush’s Full Panda roster of artists: also known as part of the duo Modern Heads, 2006/2007 he released may successful EPs: “Paper Toys ”, “Ordinary Madness” and “Gliding” are just a few pearls of a style which is now one the most followed and have been inspiring many artists from the international techno scene. His solo productions mark the birth of a new techno concept that leaves no room for labels or definitions. The continual search for new soundscapes and complex rhythms followed by hypnotic sequences and harmonic twists make Dino Sabatini unique in his way of making techno. No stranger to our club, experimentation and sound research have always been key points of growth in music and art for Claudio PRC. His concept of techno, both as a DJ and producer, turns into deep sound layers that are intertwined into minimal rhythmic structures. Currently he is running The Gods Planet, an independent platform established since 2010 with fellow Italian DJ/producer Ness. Our excellent resident DJ Reka breaks it down with a support set.
