Lost Trax is a collaboration between artists who are all doing what they do best, creating emotional music, straight from the heart. They feel Lost Trax producers should remain unknown and let the audience focus on the music, not the face or fashion behind it. Welcome to the Tresor decks Lost Trax. Albert van Abbe is The Pulse Projects from The Netherlands. there’s something else that sets him apart from the vast majority of his contemporary techno colleagues, something that’s harder to pin down. There’s so much electronic music these days that is either intentionally underproduced; grimy, harsh and simplistic, or overproduced; tumescent, hyper-compressed and dense. Albert van Abbe’s music is distinctively neither. There is always air in his productions; infinite skies, passing clouds, thin vapour rising from open fields… visions of mountain tops or endless tree crowns half covered in mist. Besides performing, producing music and DJing, Albert van Abbe also currently operates two record labels, No Comment and Vanabbe. Stojche Cvetanovski aka Stojche has been a resident DJ in Tresor Club for some years now, providing his distinct style of turntablism that fits like a glove in the basement. Berlin-born Polish DJ Charlie is one of the most active people in Kraków’s dance music underground. After spending time in Paris, where she honed her skills, DJ Charlie returned to Poland, where she became part of the Dubniki crew. She now runs Szum, a series of fantastic parties where you can hear electro, house, disco and italo. On the Globus Floor: Head Front Panel is a faster-paced techno alias of John Heckle. Originally a series of anonymously produced techno records released throughout 2014 and a passion project in conjunction with Tabernacle Records, Head Front Panel Live debuted in our home the same year and we welcome him back tonight. Mareena is one of our very talented resident DJs, who knows how to command the decks and brings her fanbase back with each distinctive set. Colin McKeown is The Parallel, a DJ and producer from Dublin, Ireland. With releases on labels such as Singular, Granulart and Balans, we welcome him to the Globus decks. Ed Treleaven aka Tred describes his style as a “meeting point between ambience and chaos”, and that one should be prepared for some intense dancefloor workouts. Since this is what our Tresor basement fans wish for the most, then Tred as found the right place. Our distinguished resident Mareena completes this high quality techno night on the Tresor Floor.
