Our friend and label artist, the legendary Daniel Bell returns to the decks: with his timeless releases “Losing Control” on his own Access label, and “The Button Down Mind Of Daniel Bell” on Tresor Records, Daniel Bell solidified his place in musical history. His signature minimalist house grooves ignited a genre that has pervaded the club music scene to the present day. Lee Renacre is 100hz, originally a trio formed in 1989, whose sound developed into the funkier side of House and Techno with twinges of sinister vocals and odd beat patterns, they were regarded as the pioneers of the new musical style that was to create an entirely new genre of dance music. Records were released through Lee’s own label called Format records and the group performed in many underground venues and festivals such as Sonar. A new wave of music starts Feb 2017 with the launch of Lee Renacre‘s new record label called Modugroove and the first release EP01 called Modulation, an insight into the wonderful world of modulating synthesis. DJ Masda is the founder of Cabaret Recordings. Via his diverse, flawless track selection and precise mixing that integrates best bits from the old to the new, it’s easy to see why he is respected as one of the finest selectors in the Japanese underground scene. He launched Cabaret Recordings imprint with So Inagawa to set a platform for showcasing his twisted but authentic view on house and techno, as well as spearheading A&R operations for Tokyo’s Energy Flash Distribution. We also welcome again frequent Tresor Club guest Alex Barroso aka Alex Cliché, Berlin DJ and producer who time after time delivers a terrific set of dancefloor electronica styled with precision. On the Tresor Floor: Tinfoil is the duo from Ireland consisting of Matt Flanagan aka DeFeKT and Sunil Sharpe.Tireless advocates of true electro and techno over the last number of years, Tinfoil has steadily honed a distinctive sound that has earned them admirers all through the electronic music community. Releasing not only on their Tinfoil label but also individually on a huge list of distinguished international labels, we are very excited to welcome their live set tonight. We also welcome back artist Philippe Petit,  a techno DJ and producer from Brussels, based in Chamonix, France after 15 years in London. He runs the vinyl label Knotweed Records and Decision Making Theory. He has a string of techno releases on his own labels, as well as on EartoGround, Space and Figure. Label mate Gonzalo MD from Argentina is associated as DJ/producer with Knotweed Records, Ressort Imprint , DMT, Extrasolar and LPZ Records. At 23, artist Christopher Joseph moved to Berlin and  launched his own Flexxseal label, and released his most notable EP to date, “Mind at Sea” on Hardwax. Christopher Joseph’s unique DJ sets blend techno with a patchwork of electronic music from various movements and styles. Bridging the gaps between “classic” and “contemporary”, he expresses the concept of music as a continuation, a narrative, and leaves no space for pretentious judgement.
