Jonathan “Stave” Krohn aka Stave is known together with Karl P. Meier under the name Talker, appearing on the esteemed Downwards imprint. Krohn/Stave’s highest solo profile release to date is the After The Social EP for Shapednoise’s Repitch Recordings. Together they join a roster of the Downwards label’s artists, defining a sound of assaults that unleash a torrent of minimal and repetitive grooves perfectly reflecting their harsh and bleak industrial location in the midlands. We welcome Stave tonight with a terrific live set in the Tresor basement. Returning artist Xhin (pronounced as “sheen”) has been crafting ominous cuts of cutting-edge electronic music since 1997. Building a forte in sound design, he is best described as a sound futurist. His identical rhythmic structure and compositional techniques which incorporate elements of techno, tight sub bass, ambient and IDM delivers a hint of chaotic soundscape amidst artistry. After joing the Meerestief family of recording artists, Xhin joined Berlin’s techno label Stroboscopic Artefacts to release his dark, intense and experimental side of things. Since his early youth Berlin-born Mørbeck was involved in the club scene of the German capital. Inspired by 90s Hip Hop and Techno he set up his first studio in 2002 and began producing music of both genres. After working on several projects during the following years he eventually had his first releases on Berlin based label Vault Series in 2010 which gained widespread recognition. In 2013 he founded his own imprint Code Is Law as a platform for his own music and for artists who shared his vision and passion for Techno. The Mørbeck style: typical rough, groovy, melodic and constantly evolving Techno. Under Black Helmet is Berlin-based Lithuanian artist Julius Laurašonis, a rising force in the dark art of industrial-laced techno. A protegee of Moerbeck’s expanding Code Is Law platform, the artist’s current surge into the shadowy realm of dance music has been further supported by Bas Mooy’s MORD label, setting up the producer as a fresh authority to be reckoned with. Tonight Mørbeck and Under Black Helmet will mesmerize with a B2B performance on the Tresor decks! Florence-based Italian DJ/producer and co-owner of Sublunar Records, Sciahri’s approach to music is focused on the craft of a sound that blends the best of his energetic club-oriented influences with his constant experimentation in the sound development stage. He is also co-founder and part of UNKNOT together with Emanuele Porcinai, on Contort as WSR. On the Globus Floor: frequent house music Tresor Club guest DJs and Detroit house innovators Scott Grooves and Patrice Scott will provide outstanding dance grooves the whole night long back-to-back…. sensational! This will be a Globus night to remember!
