The Major is back! DJ Rush puts his techno foot in the door for his regular visit in our home each year – ’nuff said! A club classic DJ of brute force and relentless energy of the best kind. With him his entourage of Kne’Deep next generation DJs, J.Fernandes and Madalba, the latter having recently started the artist label Arkita with Synkopheit. In Globus: Sid Le Rock (aka Pan/Tone, Gringo Grinder) is is one of Canada’s leading electronic producers, known for his energetic sets and his groundbreaking productions featured on labels such as My Favorite Robot, Mute Records, and his own imprint Beachcoma. He remixed for Depeche Mode, Fairmont, Placebo and did collaborations with Dj Koze, Ada, Metope and Jake Fairley and tonight’s he’s got a killer live set lined up. Michaela Dippel is Ada: Her legendary live shows took her once around the world and back before her first album “Blondie” was featured in the top 10 of New York Times’ best pop albums of 2004. Her second album “Meine zarten Pfoten” was released on DJ Koze’s label Pampa Records. Hamburg concert hall tycoon and star author Tino Hanekamp writes: “In the broadest sense of the word, it’s pop. But ultimately it’s music that exudes so much warmth and tranquility that it puts even the greatest bundle of nerves into a state of ultra-fine-tuned receptiveness.” In 2007 Metope began playing live as the Cereal Killers along with Areal label mate Ada, and friends Jake Fairley and Pan/Tone. His first full-length album, “Kobol” received critical acclaim for it’s dark and original take on what a techno LP should be. Canada’s Nathan Jonson aka Hrdvision (of Wagon Repair acclaim) injects his impressive love of experimental and diversity. Through his productions the outcome has been a consistently impressive and unendingly diverse sound, that distils a myriad of influences into irresistible and deeply different dancefloor moments.
