Regular guests Dario and Marco Zenker aka the Zenker Brothers, two Munich artists who founded Ilian Tape in 2007 together with Mueller. Dario & Marco are responsible for the musical part, while Mueller does all the graphic work. The label has picked up substantial international artists and it’s always a pleasure to have them back in our home. The Zenker Brothers notorious B2B sets are rooted in the legacy of Detroit and Techno, House, Dub, Rap Music and Breakbeats, and the two brothers have managed to define their own trademark sound over the years with their own productions. In addition, our house resident Handmade will hit the decks. Handmade‘s DJing is perfectly tuned to the Globus Floor’s wavelength: oscillating between house and techno styles, the dancing crowd in a firm grip, driven to fill the dancefloor. An integral part of the Tresor resident team since 2009, Handmade earned his stripes in the rocky terrain of the Berlin nightlife. Little by little he developed his pumping original mix of deep and dubby-grounded á la Detroit, with the jacking stabs of Chicago influences and occasional deviations into tougher or soulful soundscapes. Zenker Brothers and Handmade all night long! In Tresor: Steve Bailey aka Makaton is a U.K. techno producer whose style ranges from experimental to industrial and dark elements. His earlier releases were on Rodz-Konez and his newer output is released on James Ruskin’s Blueprint label, including his 2017 EP “All Kneel”. Taking cues from 90s era leftfield electronics, warehouse techno, the pioneers of early lab recordings and minimal film scores, Cosmin TRG has created his own brand of modern, textural sonics in a contemporary context. His flair for abstract, low-end drum section methodology and a natural propensity for sculpting arresting soundscapes out of contrasting aural signifiers have earned him a solid reputation with audiences, peers and critics worldwide. Touring internationally, Cosmin TRG’s relentlessly hypnotic and seductive approach of the House and Techno canon has landed him regular slots on platforms like Boiler Room and podcasts for Resident Advisor, XLR8R, Fact Mag or CLR among others. We also welcome to Tresor Club French artist Raär. Offering up a medley of choked out drums, heart soaked vocals, grumbling bass lines, and crisp hats, Raär’s music proves to be some of the most intimate and thought provoking in the modern day techno scene. One of our top residents Mischa also joins the line-up. Mischa is a product of shifting technological landscapes. Nurtured by computerized machine music through radio waves from the hardcore continuum, he has developed a distinctly futurist vision for uncompromising techno music. Born in Berlin, he inevitably found Hard Wax as a main educator in taste, and has worked there since 2010.
