Jose Cabrera aka J.C. from Spain, debuting in Tresor on one of the Echoes nights, expresses a style of simple, raw, stripped down and hypnotic techno is honed for the basement sensibilities – just a reflection of his influences. In 2012, he started the AHD label together with his friend Damian Schwartz, releasing records of the likes of Fred P, DJ F, Marcos Cabral and Epiphany, and he produced his first EP for the Argentinian label Greener Records in the beginning of 2013. In November 2013, J.C.‘s “Endurance” EP on Deeply Rooted garnered great feedback among the techno community, leading him to do a VA on Tresor together with Zadig and Acronym. Tonight he celebrates the release of his debut longplayer on Fred P’s new label Boards: “Portrait of the Flying Sky”, a product of the friendship with Fred P with featured collaborators Dario Zenker, Psynote, Kastil and Tadeo. The Madrid-born DJ Svreca combines the coolest and most sophisticated electronica with the most abstract and complex techno, and sometimes his experimentation leads him towards the most unusual textures and rhythms for the dancefloor. Owner of Recognition Records, Jacek Sienkiewicz is a Polish electronic music producer who takes no compromises when it comes to individual artistic vision and quality, “walking the line between full-on modern, detroit-inspired techno and digital experimentalism.” Playing his live set at top venues and festivals all over the world, Jacek’s techno is individual and defies definition. Jesse Jakob has been a part of the Minneapolis techno community for close to 20 years as a DJ, producer, and event promoter. In recent years, his production work has landed him on highly respected labels such as Stockholm Ltd, Traut Muzik and Mindtrip. While Jesse Jakob is a relative newcomer to the global techno scene, he has quietly been building a resume that goes back over two decades. His sets and productions are reflective of his taste for raw, powerful, stripped down grooves and a control gained only through countless hours of dedication. Tireless in his artistry, 2015 saw Jesse make a return to Traut Muzik with the Barrage EP featuring remixes from Pfirter and Exium. Originating from Argentina, Savor Music is a multi-cultural project that aims at bringing out the favorite ‘flavors’ in their sound and we offer the Globus Floor for their discaire teamwork tonight. The leading forces behind the project are Cape and Jorge Savoretti, both natives of the city of Rosario and tonight they are giving us a taste of their sound with invited guests Diego Paulino Gonzalez aka Papol from Spain, whose underground sound is reflected in his numerous releases on various labels and international gigs; and Martin Swanstein alias Martinez, a Swedish/Danish house music & techno DJ/producer currently based in Copenhagen who is very much influenced by the Chicago sound.
