Blake Baxter has been an integral member of the Tresor family since the inception of the club and label, and his sets in both Globus and Tresor, as well as his infamous recordings, are essential to the foundation of our home. From the olymp of Detroit’s techno founders, his nickname “Prince Of Techno” may be correct but his talents reach further edges of the genre, as exemplified on his many releases over the years, including on our house label. Blake Baxter can turn out a hot tech-house set and tonight will be no exception. Since moving from her homeland of France to Berlin in 2005, DJ, producer, label owner and live act, Bloody Mary has made quite a name for herself, or rather, for her dancefloor seductress alter ego. As a world-class DJ, she has traveled internationally, launched her own label Dame-Music, and started a new project “The Jaydes”, a Berlin-based project comprising of two friends and studio partners – Bloody Mary & Attan, who use analog studio machines crafting their productions. Tresor Club resident Wittes of Deep Fried fame, adds his turntablist talent to the roster tonight. Most Berlin clubbers are not quick to forget the excellent Frühschoppen parties together with Richard Zepezauer, and it is always a pleasure to welcome Wittes to the decks. In Tresor: Developer is one of a few active DJ/Producers that emerged from the Los Angeles techno scene in the early 1990’s. After ending his residency as a DJ on radio station 88.7FM kspc in 1995, Developer co-founded and managed the first dedicated techno distribution company on the west coast “Entity Music Distribution”. Developer gained much of his acclaim and extensive performance history from his strong marathon sets and quick programming skills as well as the ability of playing 50 tracks per hour on 3 turntables with effect processor and sampler. Developer continues to thrive as one of the most interesting techno mixmasters from the Americas as well as the birth of his label Moduarz which features productions and remixes from some of his early contemporaries in Los Angeles as well as a few established and emerging talents from around the world. Adriana Lopez is a Colombia-born, Barcelona-based DJ, producer, label owner and sound technician whose career date back to the late 1990s, she is one of the most prominent South American techno artists on the international scene. Adriana Lopez has been busy developing her focused style behind the decks and releasing her material for Developer‘s Modularz label and her own label, Grey Report, that she runs from Barcelona. Adriana‘s DJ sets flow effortlessly through techno’s landscape focusing their power on rhythm and energy never forgetting hints of melodies and a fair share of dynamics. Founder of London-based imprint Weekend Circuit, Berlin-based Michael Wells has gathered works on his label from quality artists such as Jonas Kopp, Reeko, Developer, Pär Grindvik, Francois X, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dax J, Yan Cook, Sleeparchive, Antonio De Angelis, P.E.A.R.L., I/Y and many more. Wells’ own debut EP on his label “Three Marks Of Existence” was an ear-opening signifier of his future direction as a producer – meditative, tense, unfolding electronics and monochrome ambient environments.
