Some Dutch grooves in Globus tonight! Tom Trago is an internationally renowned DJ, producer, live performer and label owner with three critically acclaimed albums to his name. The Dutchman divides his time between all-day studio sessions, DJ gigs and live shows all over the world, and a steady stream of musical collaborations with friends from Amsterdam and beyond. Tom Trago‘s trademark style that blends the best of three decades of dance music – disco, boogie, synth funk, Detroit techno and more, is irresistable and we welcome back in our home. A collaborator of Tom, San Proper is a well-respected artist from the Amsterdam underground club scene. Over the last fifteen years, he has been spinning and playing live from major clubs and festivals to smaller bars and dodgy underground locations. San Proper is known and praised for his house & disco sets, but also skilled in blending different styles from acid to Afro-beat into an eclectic mix. Amsterdam clubbing these days wouldn’t be the same without the ongoing efforts of DJ/producer/promoter/label owner Carlos Valdes. Not only has he enriched the city’s nightlife with a series of refreshing initiatives, but also introduced new artists from abroad and pushed a young generation of local talent. He’s also managed to become one of Holland’s most respected and loved underground DJs, setting dancefloors aflame across the Netherlands and abroad. Berlin-based Belgian DJ Gratts and his bag of records has been touring for a good fifteen years now with his music for big systems in small basements. Gratts got into underground dance music in the late nineties and together with Kong he’s the founder of ‘ensemble’. On the Tresor Floor: Token Records label chief Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. With fast & tight mixing, properly dosed with cuts & scratches, Kr!z is a respected & established artist in Belgium for a decade with his label, and a resident DJ for Belgium’s legendary techno night ‘Kozzmozz’ – his DJ schedule now takes him all over the world. Grounded Theory artist, DJ, producer, promoter and owner of his own K209 imprint Henning Baer as well as our own excellent techno resident Manuel Münster round off this bristling basement line-up.
