London-based Steve Bicknell is a welcome, regular returning guest in Tresor Club. Steve has delivered some of the most powerful and riveting techno sets over the years in the Tresor vault. He was resident DJ at the famous Energy raves, participating in many of the defining events in UK club culture’s history. Steve and Sheree Rashit (who together formed the renowned Cosmic Records, (featuring a roster of international visionaries) run the now legendary LOST events which influenced a whole generation of British electronic musicians. Returning Russian artist Alexander Matlakhov is Unbalance, a young artist who debuted in 2008 with his distinct symbiosis of strong emotions and industrial themes, which are eclectic and conjoin with technically accurate treatments in music story making. Unbalance endeavors to combine the whole of techno ages, gives his due to classic techno, gets inspiration in futuristic sound and mixing it with a modern techno wave, which is what he is. His style of performing is so close to his own works and it creates unique atmosphere on international dance floors. As a part of the production duo I/Y, Irakli has been releasing music under the synonymous co-founded label. But most of all, Irakli’s craft behind the decks has been weighed upon by the best of Berlin’s underground venues, with his vision of electronic music taken further afield in Europe, and the Americas. In 2017 he founded the Intergalactic Research Institute for Sound with artists like Stanislav Tolkachev, Natalie Beridze, Rezo Glonti and many others. Irakli’s expanding platforms and industrious connection to Berlin has seen his entry point into the scene now serve as an outlet into the more abstract, experimental realms of techno. Tresor resident Mischa is a product of shifting technological landscapes. Nurtured by computerized machine music through radio waves from the hardcore continuum, he has developed a distinctly futurist vision for uncompromising techno music. Born in Berlin, Mischa inevitably found the legendary Hard Wax as a main educator in taste, and has worked there since 2010. In Globus, brothers Ben and Louis Helliker-Hales are Chaos In The CBD from New Zealand. With their ever strengthening production credentials, the brothers have been able to mark themselves out as one of the most eminent underground duos to emerge out of the South Pacific. Chaos In The CBD started 2017 with a bang, their gig calendar continues to fill up and a fresh release is imminent on their new label In Dust We Trust. True Berliner Borrowed Identity is a DJ, producer and remixer widely recognised as a chameleon within the electronic music scene. He can tastefully and strategically mix various forms of house, techno and disco depending on his reaction to the environment and the crowd, expanding his skills towards a more freestyle manner if he feels is appropriate for the occasion. Born in Berlin, artist Ron Wilson started out with his event & podcast series Tanzmichmal over a decade ago and is now busy with his own record label 777 Recordings, earning him underground credibility around the globe. With his residency at Tresor and hosting his own clubnight bookings at Globus, Ron Wilson counts among Berlin’s most prolific electronic music DJs, playing diverse styles ranging from techno to acid to house and electro. It’s always a pleasure to welcome frequent guest DJ Sarah Miles, co-founder & chief, DJ & live host at Berlin Community Radio, who plays in numerous Berlin underground locations and whose sets surprise and delight with their spectrum of sophistication in dance club mixing.
