Inspired by a raw and urban UK techno lineage, returning artist Kieran Whitefield aka Ansome‘s drums are heavyweight, his percussion fierce and his synths full blooded. All in all that makes for a live set that grabs your attention and drags you along for an enthralling ride. Littered with his own field recordings, it can be variously eerie or boisterous. Besides producing and releasing music on many top labels, Ansome also keeps busy by running his own label SLAM, South London Analogue Material. Last November, we participated in a night at London’s Corsica Studios, sending Sleeparchive to play together with the THEM crew and SLAM’s Ansome, Ossian & Manni Dee, and tonight Ansome and Ossian return with Ayarcana & Keepsakes to swerve the party into a delicious direction for sublime clubbing. Sophia Saze is a musician and a multi-media artist based in Brooklyn, New York. DJing and producing for 8 years, Saze launched her record label Dusk & Haze in 2017, with the first installment coming in the form of her own ‘Solace’ EP [D&H001], which included remixes from Benjamin Damage & Umwelt. The productions stem from techno, yet her musical versatility draws from a variety of genre influences, ranging electro to krautrock, ambient to industrial, acid to garage, showing her complete range and fluidity as a musician. Sophia Saze shapes the records she chooses for her sets into a carefully sculpted and characteristic groove. Keeping the journey on the border of house and techno, including electro and more spaced-out broken beat moments, she keeps the beat, the floor, and the dancers intact, always heading forward. In Globus: Lisandro Quezada aka DJ Qu is a New Jersey-based producer, DJ and Strength label boss was referred to as “the dancer’s DJ” in Resident Advisor’s 2009 feature on the US east coast house renaissance, a title honestly earned given his background as a world traveling house dancer and resident at New York’s esteemed HouseDanceConference. DJ Qu has been steadily reinforcing that description ever since, with a well-received run of rhythmic, dark, stripped-down productions for his Strength Music imprint.  Jose Cabrera aka J.C. from Spain, debuting in Tresor on one of the Echoes nights, expresses a style of simple, raw, stripped down and hypnotic techno. In 2012, he started the AHD label together with his friend Damian Schwartz, and he produced his first EP for the Argentinian label Greener Records in the beginning of 2013. After several other innovative releases, J.C. joined the Tresor label family with his different blends in subtle electronics. Richard Zepezauer is owner of the label  “n s y d e”, providing him with his own personal way of keeping this focus alive. The broad range displayed in his DJ sets testifies of his lifelong passion for music and record digging, and his recent cooperation with various renowned 20th century classics ensembles is a testament of Richard Zepezauer‘s diversity. With pleasure we welcome him back to Tresor.Klubnacht tonight.
