Joey Beltram is a techno and house music pioneer since the early 1990’s. He has headlined some of the biggest festivals and events worldwide including Nature One, Bonusz Festival, Awakenings, Rock-it open air, Coachella, BLOC, A Day at the Park, Womb, Full House Festival and Tomorrowland, to name a few. In 1990 Joey Beltram made techno history with the release of “Energy Flash” and continued to shower the world with innovative and legendary tracks on some of the most cutting edge international labels – including many on Tresor Records. Jason Patrick is originally from Detroit, currently based in Chicago, and runs the label Klectik Records. Timeout Chicago has referred to him as one of the most technical techno DJ’s in town. Patrick has established himself as one of the top DJ’s in the city where he plays at many of the top clubs including his residency at Spybar where he is regularly featured alongside many international guests. The type of sound you can expect to hear in his sets is a moody hypnotic techno vibe, rich in the classic Detroit spirit that pervades in his multiple label showcase events in Berlin. What better artist to compliment this line-up than our own in-house techno scientist and dancefloor wizard Pacou, who has released classic albums since the 90s on Tresor and his own Cache imprint. On the Globus Floor, Ramon Lisandro Quezada is DJ Qu, a DJ and producer, who also runs Strength Music Recordings. The New Jersey-based producer was referred to as “the dancer’s DJ” in Resident Advisor’s 2009 feature on the US east coast house renaissance, a title honestly earned given his background as a world traveling house dancer and resident at New York’s esteemed HouseDanceConference. DJ Qu‘s been steadily reinforcing that description ever since, with a well-received run of rhythmic, dark, stripped-down productions for his label. Phil Moffa is a NYC-based DJ, electronic musician, producer, engineer, studio owner, writer, and professor. Affiliations: Butcha Sound Studios (Owner/Operator), Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase (Production Faculty), DJ Times Magazine & Resident Advisor (Tech Reviewer). Aside from these excellent qualifications, a close listen to his latest release “Psychic Surgeons” with DJ Spider will provide an intense discovery of some formidable electronica perfectly fit for our home. Armon Bazile aka Aybee is another artist from the USA who is the chief alchemist of Deepblak Recordings. His “Sketches Of Space” LP and “Alchemy EP” reveal a deep understanding of house music with techno sensibilities. Emerging in 2001, Aybee has spent more than a decade gathering respect from all corners of the electronic music spectrum. Armed with a distinct sound that some say meshes the drum of urban intensity with the ethereal sentiments of a Zen Temple, Aybee has carved a niche for all things soul, and electronic. Releasing music under a wide range of monikers (Orion 70, Afrobatik, o1o, Lamaj, Bla Kula, Prof Delacroix) Aybee’s versatility is genre defiant, seamlessly weaving through soul, techno, house, and hip-hop. Satisfaction label chief Marc Fm returns with a tight set for this choice Tresor.Klubnacht of qualitative electronic music.
