We welcome back Joel Mull to the Tresor decks after a year absence. With a career spanning already two decades, frequent guest Joel Mull is a techno DJ and producer from Sweden who has released on labels such as Drumcode, Truesoul, Audiomatique, Saved, Cocoon, Kanzleramt and Music Man, and is a master of making music with an ability to balance sounds from across the spectrum with heavy-duty rhythms, chords, and melody. Joel Mull is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussion to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound. As a producer, Joel Mull is constantly active and has released over 100 releases and under various names such as Icarus and recently Gotzkowsky on the label Dystopian, and since 2015 he is involved in the label Parabel, focusing on releasing music from the artists in the agency with the same name. Argentinian Jonas Kopp has gained and produced a first-rate reputatio: 2006 marked his official debut release, a rousing EP on Pfirter’s MindTrip Music, and from that point, he has become one of the most versatile and recognised multifaceted performers in the underground scene. His discography is spread out not only over top international labels, but also his connection to Tresor Club, where Jonas Kopp has regularly played over the last few years, and also released two full-length albums on Tresor Records: “Beyond The Hypnosis” (Tresor.273) in 2014, and his follow-up “Photon Belt” (Tresor.293) in 2017. Returning artist Patrik Skoog is also known by his moniker Agaric, exploring the deeper realms of techno and house, notably with productions on his well-received label/project named “We Are”. No stranger to our home, Patrik is a technical DJ with great sense for momentum and track selection, performing a deeper variety of tracks with a passionate flourish. Affiliated with an astonishing list of top international labels, his 2013 debut album under his own name “Exit Earth” on Third Ear Recordings was critically praised all around. DJ Juan Montero first moved to Berlin at the age of 17, afterwards moving from one place to another (Madrid, London, Denver), but eventually relocated back in Berlin. With his Tresor debut in 2015 at a Tresor New Faces showcase, Montero revealed his techno talents: he is now part of the Level Delta team, a Berlin-based electronic music project bringing out events and podcast series. Montero returned for a Tresor.Klubnacht last April and we welcome him again. In Globus: Keita Sano is part of Japan’s new wave of music producers. The Okayama resident has been weaving his way through house, techno and dance music releases from Mister Saturday Night, 1080p and some others, displaying an affinity to old school processes. Tonight Keita Sano graces us with a live set for which we’re very excited about. Niels Luinenburg aka Delta Funktionen‘s tracks on Field 02 and 04 are delicious techno works of intricate, moody forces. Also a resident at Amsterdam’s LET – les enfants terribles – Delta Funktionen is content to go about his business quietly, and the Dutchman now spins a genre-defiant blend of Detroit techno, Chicago-licked house, crafty old school electro and sparkling Italo disco at clubs around the globe. We welcome back to Delta Funktionen. Using the dream process as a springboard for musical activity, A Sagittariun has indulged in astrological techno, spiritual house music, bass heavy dub rhythms and ambient paths, culminating in two full length albums, ‘Dream Ritual’ (2013) and ‘Elasticity’ (2016). A Sagittariun has also released music on Secretsundaze, Hypercolour and Couldn’t Care More. Pulling deep from his three decades in the music scene, A Sagittariun delivers a smattering of techno classics, deeper cuts and raw and uncompromising electronic music. Returning artist Berlin artist Tatjana will also provide a set on the Globus decks tonight. She is a DJ, record collector and part time Audio In record store affiliate who has provided the Trush project with some very meaty mixes and you’ll get a taste of it tonight.
