We welcome back Lucretio and Marieu aka The Analogue Cops, founders of Restoration Records, true defenders of vinyl and the worst enemies of digital downloads; from 4 years they have been resisting in Berlin, where they had already imposed their message: techno that comes from Chicago House music, from Larry Levan´s disco, from George Clinton’s funk, from Miles Davis´s jazz; in a few words, uptempo danceable R&B music. They use only hardware analogue gear in their live shows, raw and funky in the traditional Techno style. Actually The Analogue Cops are pledged in a more dub and deep house oriented project, but always deeply influenced by their passion for American music. We welcome back Luke Hess who continues to be a shining star out of Detroit. He has celebrated EPs out on Omar S’ FXHE, Carl Craig’s Planet-e, Echocord and many more. His Detroit label DeepLabs has been the center for his own deeply personal projects. With over 15 years of DJ experience and many notable live sets across the world, Luke is regarded as a perfectionist on stage. Hess is known to layer his sets in a very detailed, hypnotic, & soulful manner. ERIS is a new project formed by Enrica Falqui and Dea Dvornik. Enrica represents the Sardinian half of ERIS. Her book begins somewhere in 2009, when she started to create music and DJ. The years that followed were filled with contributions to dance culture with her DJ sets, alias productions, and her own record label. When this story came to an end another one was already in the making. Dea represents the Croatian half of ERIS. A woman who has danced on all floors and experienced many memorable musical journeys.  Over these years she’s collected and patiently waited her turn to express herself. Finally that time came with her 2018 MOJ mix. ERIS is two souls from different musical histories who met and instantly connected and their taste and passion spiraled into production and mixing sessions. Their debut EP was released on Cabaret Recordings and with that Moments EP was created. Tresor Club resident Handmade‘s DJing is perfectly tuned to the Globus Floor’s wavelength: oscillating between house and techno styles, the dancing crowd in a firm grip, driven to fill the dancefloor. An integral part of the Tresor resident team since 2009, Handmade earned his stripes in the rocky terrain of the Berlin nightlife. Little by little he developed his pumping original mix of superior and timeless dance styles that have particularly influenced his experience. Handmade’s explosive trademark DJ style: deep and dubby-grounded á la Detroit, with the jacking stabs of Chicago influences and occasional deviations into tougher or soulful soundscapes. On the Tresor Floor: back on the decks – mysterious, anonymous Swedish duo Shxcxchcxsh do not make it easy. At least as far as the pronunciation of the name is concerned. The title of their third album seems to reference the understanding of abstract machine rhythms. Nice proof that techno still has vacant positions in the field of experimentation, which is still worth exploring. In 2017 Shxcxchcxsh launched a label, Rösten. The label’s first release is a four-track EP, called Rösten 1 of decaying, grizzled techno from the hooded Swedish duo. Rotterdam home-based DJ/producer Bas Mooy (1976) has been active on many fronts in the techno scene since 1999. Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength twenty-fourseven, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, which lead him to the forefront of the European techno scene. In 2002 he kickstarted the already legendary Audio Assault record label with label partner Jeroen Liebregts aka Radial, which resulted in the birth of sublabel Arms one year later. For many years Bas Mooy has been a member of the Rotterdam underground collective ‘Strictly Techno’, creators of over a hundred legendary parties since 1996. Bas has played at many ‘top of the bill’ clubs and festivals around the globe. Undeniably influenced by the mangled sound of the UK, Sedvs takes cues from the motor city’s funk, leading to his very own sonic interpretation, reflected in themes of manic repetition in his own tracks. Hailing from Vienna, the founding member of Bare Hands Records constantly deepens his excursions and elaborates his sound with every release. Undeniably influenced by the mangled sound of the UK, Sedvs takes cues from the motor city’s funk, leading to his very own sonic interpretation, reflected in themes of manic repetition in his own tracks as well as his high-octane DJ sets. Sebastian Bayne is a DJ, producer and label owner based in Sydney Australia. His music is fast gaining the support of this peers as it is developing into his unique take on techno, as well as taking the reins of IF? label in 2010 from long time techno cohort Andrez Bergen aka Little Nobody, in 2010. IF? Records was established in Melbourne in 1995, has over 130 releases, and a roster that reads like a who’s who of the underground in the last 15 years.
