Frequent guests Dario and Marco Zenker are the Zenker Brothers, two Munich artists who founded Ilian Tape in 2007, and in 2012 they started playing their notorious B2B sets. The label has picked up substantial international artists and it’s always a pleasure to have them back in our home. The Zenker Brothers notorious B2B sets are rooted in the legacy of Detroit and Techno, House, Dub, Rap Music and Breakbeats, and the two brothers have managed to define their own trademark sound over the years with their own productions. In 2015 they released their first album called Immersion. Also returning is Giuseppe Maffei alias Z.I.P.P.O, an Italian DJ who prefers to use a variety of sounds and styles to create his own unique brand of sampling. With several solo releases and innovative collaborations, Z.I.P.P.O also worked in a project along with a Detroit underground legend Fanon Flower. The result was named ‘EP SAV_002’ produced by the label Suburban Avenue. Together with his solo EPs and collaborations on the Fides label, this was also very significant for the creation of the 3KZ project founded with his friend Kaelan inspired by a retro-futuristic sound similar to Detroit techno. Returning artist Len Ander Som is a Rotterdam-based underground dance music DJ, recording music since 2012 under his alias Lenson, and responsible for Paling Trax since 2015. Playing a broad mixture of Chicago House and Detroit Techno with lots of raw acid 90’s cuts and adding EBM, Wave, Electro and Industrial excursions, his vision definitely doesn’t have a linear perspective in his DJ sets. As a vinyl purist, gear scientist and general purveyor of all forms of hardware, Lenson is ready to shake some dancefloors all over. In the +4Bar: Giorgi Koberidze is Cobert, a minimal oriented artist from Tbilisi and based in Berlin, who despite his young age is an experienced artist. Together with fellow artists Zitto, Berika, and Tade he is the symbol of young generation artist. What sets him apart from other DJs of his age is the number of years in music industry. Anthea has cemented herself in the forefront of house and techno talents. Once a behind-the-counter fixture of London’s Flying Records, Black Market Records, and Phonica Records, Berlin-based Anthea has been honing her tastemaker’s ear for over 10 years. After building a reputation as the most in-demand female DJ in London, Anthea now disseminates her distinct brand of funk-fueled music to every corner of the globe as a world-renowned DJ, producer, and vocalist, collaborating alongside many of the scene’s underground heroes and pioneering her very own, Partisan label. Tonnovelle represents two producers and devoted diggers, Arman Jalili aka Disabnormal and Kamyar Keramati, reconnected over time on a continent away from home, forming their duo in 2016. Both of these compelling artists were born in Tehran and now swing between Berlin and Vienna. Welcome Tonnovelle to our home tonight. Marco Pellegrino aka Ancut is a Berlin-based Italian DJ and producer, also known as mastering and vinyl cutting engineer at Analogcut, and for his imprint Discarded Gems. Ancut’s musical taste was shaped mainly by club nights happening in Brancaleone and Goa club in Rome in the early 2000s, opening his views on the Detroit sound and his North-European reinterpretations. The love for the analogue domain is evident also in his productions, where computer-free hardware sessions are recorded straight to tape.
