With each James Ruskin set on the basement decks of Tresor, we are reminded of the solid thread that ties our ideals and spectrum to this techno icon. Hot on the heels of the recent reissue of the Point 2 LP, we were proud to announce James Ruskin’s follow EP on our label last November, entitled Siklikal (Tresor.314). A muscular and dynamic EP, continuing his signature techno sound. Certainly some of Tresor Records’ most cutting-edge UK techno releases carry the Ruskin signature, a style he brought to the world’s attention back in the 90s and continues to mold. With his own Blueprint label James Ruskin created an internationally renowned platform for talented artists as well as numerous releases that stand on their own as prime examples of the genre. A hugely respected techno artist who we are alway pleased to welcome in our home. Idealism is the driving force behind all of Milton Bradley’s thoughts and moves – a fact especially prevalent in his musical output. With years of experience in Berlin’s electronic music scene, Bradley has built up a reputation as a decisive and forward-thinking artist with a versatile yet thriving sound. “Do Not Resist the Beat!” was the label he founded in 2008 and aside from much production work and touring worldwide, Bradley started a collaboration with Grounded Theory associate and good friend Henning Baer. To date they have released four highly acclaimed EPs presenting raw and effective quality techno. Milton Bradley has become one of the most promising producers within the genre, whose dystopian, industrial influenced and tripping sounds are also representative of his internationally acclaimed DJ sets. Excellent support is provided by a kicking set by HGR who is known for his versatile sets and agility to move between moods. In Globus: returning artist Levon Vincent is an American DJ, producer and owner of Novel Sound, and another label that he co-runs with fellow NY house renaissance man Anthony Parasole called Deconstruct. Originally from the midwest, Levon is now a world traveling DJ, feeling at home in New York, London or Berlin. His productions on his labels have seen support from top international artists. Molly has established herself as one of the brightest talents to emerge from the Paris scene in recent years, combining passion, integrity and talent to launch a successful multi-faceted career. After having been head of PR for Paris’ Rex Club, Molly’s growth as a DJ has been steady and natural, fueled by an inquisitive side to her nature which comes through in her diverse sets, made up of special treats uncovered during frequent digging sessions. Also evident in her DJ sets is her ability to weave together a variety of styles from sultry house to tougher techno. Her debut solo EP landed on French label AKU, a sub label of the infamous Yoyaku outlet. Driven by her ambitious nature, Molly initiated the launch of her own record label RDV (Recit de Voyage) in 2017. The platform is intended to allow Molly to express her vision and cement her identity as a curator on all levels, expanding her reach and utilising her core skills in another area of the industry. Consistent, dynamic, knowledgeable and naturally gifted, Molly is a French powerhouse who is continuously expanding and refining her impressive career trajectory. For the last 12 years, Berlin-born Janina developed an impressive sharp ear, technical skills, an asserted signature, despite continuously evolving music tastes. Janina is a frequent Tresor Club guest, as well as playing regularly at many top clubs in Berlin and in European capitals, and Janina is now playing twice a month as a resident of Monasterio Club in Moscow.
