Scottish artist Gary Beck is regarded as one of the most prolific and inventive DJs and producers in the current electronic music scene. As a regular fixture at the world’s top clubs and festivals, Gary Beck has long been established as a primary figure in techno. Known and respected for his unique sound, he has gained support from the best names in the business and released music on some of the genre’s leading labels, institutions such as Drumcode, Cocoon and Saved as well as his own BEK Audio. collaborations with similarly exceptional talents such as Green Velvet, Mark Broom and Speedy J. 2012 saw the release of his seminal debut album ‘Bring a Friend’ on the legendary Soma Records label. Gary is expertly supported by two of our excellent basement residents, Mario Berger and Esther Duijn. Very special guest tonight in Globus: London-based Steve Bicknell was resident DJ at the famous Energy raves, participating in many of the defining events in UK club culture’s history. Steve and Sheree Rashit (who together formed the reknowned Cosmic Records, featuring a roster of international visionaries) run the now legendary LOST events which influenced a whole generation of British electronic musicians. Kimyon is an American DJ who has produced some excellent tracks on Juan Atkins Metroplex label, and has played alongside contemporaries Terrence Dixon, Mike Servito and Mr. Atkins himself at various international venues. Since moving from her homeland of France to Berlin in 2005, Bloody Mary has made quite a name for herself, or rather, for her dancefloor seductress alter ego. As a world-class DJ, she has traveled internationally, launched her own label Dame-Music, and started a new project “The Jaydes”, a Berlin-based project comprising of two friends and studio partners – Bloody Mary & Attan.
