Tresor.Klubnacht
Fri 01 January 2016 - 23:59

For the first Klubnacht of the year we bring you exceptional international talent: Zadig is clearly a chameleon in the French techno scene. Highly influenced by Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Surgeon or the labels Synewave, Lost or Tresor, he moved through several inspired projects in the beginning, released a maxi ‘’TTRXL’’ on DJ Deep’s Deeply Rooted House label, and finally gave birth to Construct Re-Form, a label on a human scale which was initially created to release his own productions. In 2010, Zadig collaborated with S3A and is playlisted by Marcel Dettman on Friendship Connection (Paname Recordz). Russian artist Alexander Matlakhov is Unbalance, a young DJ who debuted in 2008 with his distinct symbiosis of strong emotions and industrial themes, which are eclectic and conjoin with technically accurate treatments in music story making. Unbalance then proceeded to develop his ideas, expanding his techno vision and collaborating with a lot of significant artists in the Rebalance project. Tijana Todorovic is a prominent figure in Belgrade’s music and club life. Being known for her energetic DJ mixes, charismatic presence, sultry house vocals and as a superb music journalist, this lady is one of the rare Serbian talents with international reputation. Tijana T is a charismatic DJ with slick mixing skills and a sophisticated selection of house and techno, not to mention her gigs around the globe most notably her critically acclaimed collaboration with Abe Duque. Italian-born and Berlin-based Madalba formed collaboration in 2011 with the crew Femme Fraktale, and more recently has cemented her inspiration for Detroit in May 2013, beginning a working collusion with the Detroit-based crew Detroit Techno Militia. In 2014 sMadalba started her own project Arkita Rec, the Berlin based label she runes together with Synkopheit. In Globus we’ve got the Swedish vibe for you: some know maverick Alexander Berg as one half of Genius Of Time, but as Dorisburg he has created an impressive number of club tracks. Although his collaboration with Nils Krogh for GOT spans a long history, his irresistable 4/4 music as Dorisburg has taken flight in 8 EPs in 5 years, primarily on local labels like Bossmusik, Abdulla Rashim’s Northern Electronics and Aniara Recordings. Whether producing in Berlin or Sweden, dark or trippy melodious, his magic can be witnessed tonight. Fabian Bruhn is DJ and manager of Aniara Recordings from Gothenburg, Sweden. Exploring both the traditional, the unexpected, the fast, the slow, the nostalgic and the contemporary, Aniara is definitely a label to watch. Johanna Knutsson caught the music bug in 2008, she promptly moved to Berlin from her native Sweden, signed to independent Berlin-based label, Klasse Recordings. A passion for 80s disco, house, hi hats and handclaps inspired 2 dance floor killing edits of Imagination’s “So Good So Right” and thumbs up from fans. Apart from producing music and playing records in and outside Berlin, Johanna Knutsson also hosts Musikguiden, a monthly show in National Swedish Radio. Currently, Johanna is working closely with Hans Berg, releasing their music on their own UFO Station Recordings label.
