Gerard Hanson alias Convextion has cultivated the epigones of the rich interface of Detroit techno and Berlin dubelektronik, a highly unique sound design, primarily distinguished by its incomprehensible beautiful subtlety. As a fiery child of the music industry his release cycle is very carefully distributed and on few labels – which incurs an all too positive effect on the quality of the tracks. So reasonable his discography, so passionate his admirers. Tonight Convextion gives us the opportunity to experience an ultra-rare live set. Mike Dehnert is a Berlin producer, live act/DJ and frequent guest in Tresor Club over the years. Since 2007 he has managed his own label Fachwerk Records. Kenneth Christiansen has been DJing all over Europe the last decade, playing in top clubs in most capitals. The Danish artist runs the labels Echocord and Echocord Colour, and the Pattern Repeat project with Resoe, as well as booker/co-owner/manager of the club Culture Box in Copenhagen. Tresor resident Mareena provides rigorous support. Tresor Floor: Developer is one of a few remaining DJ/producers that emerged from the Los Angeles techno scene in the early 1990’s. Over the years Developer gained much of his acclaim and extensive performance history from his quick programming skills and powerful marathon sets by strongly supporting the momentum mixing style continuously pushing 40+ tracks per hour on 3 turntables with effect processor and sampler. Tensal is a project of Hector Sandoval (one half of Exium) from Spain, based on cyclic lines and vintage synthesizers. In the Polegroup family, he has also released extremely compelling techno tracks on his Tensal label, Tensal A through E, among many other cutting edge releases. Also contributing a track for Christian Wunsch’s PoleGroup’s “Unknown Landscapes Vol. II”, this terrific underground DJ is a perfect fit for the basement decks. Solid support is churned and burned by Tresor residents Marcel Heese and Manuel Münster.
