It can be hard to grasp that the ground-breaking, legendary track “Acid Tracks” was released to the world by Phuture nearly 30 years ago. The original trio of DJ Pierre, Spanky and Herb J. used the now famous Roland TB-303 in the production of this landmark work that first rose to popularity at DJ Ron Hardy’s Music Box club in Chicago. Simple but dark and hypnotic, the track introduced the acid house genre that spread across the world, and gave them the space for many more excellent recordings over the years. Tonight Phuture is in our home for an exclusive live performance for our clubbing family. DJ Pierre is the quintessential dance producer. With his finger on the pulse of today’s underground house scene, he is shaping the present and laying the ground work for the future. An electronic music pioneer who counts the world’s top music artists among his remixes and productions, DJ Pierre simply cannot be missed tonight. Rounding off this excellent Globus night are Tresor resident DJ Magda El Bayoumi and Berlin DJ Hirax. On the Tresor Floor: Inigo Kennedy is a pioneering and respected techno and electronic music producer and DJ from the UK. He is well known for always bringing technical and creative originality and skill to his work. Owner of the innovative and genre defying label Asymmetric, Inigo Kennedy has also been responsible for a large and diverse back catalog of releases on a wide variety of labels and projects around the world. Vault Series label head Subjected joins the line-up, giving strong evidence that the label is overwhelmingly aspiring as a contemporary techno platform. Deep in the underground, Subjected stands for distinctly deep, identifiable techno. Designed in the shadows, to be consumed in the darkness. Also on the decks is a Vault Series commarade Escape To Mars, a very underground DJ also in the distinguished family of Zero2Nine artists and the Modul label.
