A month that celebrates 25 years of Tresor Club history wouldn’t be thinkable without our dear friends Octave One, the power live duo from Detroit. Virtual legends on club stages over the entire planet, the Octave One absolute sizzling performance encompasses an entire generation of techno into one concise and incredibly exciting show of their unique sound. The core unit of the band is made up of Lenny Burden and Lawrence Burden (with revolving members of Lynell Burden, Lorne Burden, and Lance Burden), and we had the privilege of releasing Octave One‘s excellent album/DVD “Off The Grid” (Tresor.227) which blew away critics internationally. Homopatik resident and Power Park co-manager Kris creates a deliciously mixture of electronica from the stranger regions of sonic expanse; and two of our estimable residents Handmade and HGR provide kickin support. In the basement Tresor Floor, techno DJ and producer Dustin Zahn is based in Minneapolis, US. He is co-founder of Abiotic Recordings and Enemy Records and internationally known for his trademark powerful and dark techno sound since his 1998 beginnings. Weaving through various genres which creates a unique, hypnotic vibe, his set is a thrill to be sure. Producers and label owners Vangelis and Vidal Vargas aka Raíz have performed worldwide and are co-founders of Droid Behavior, the VRV label, manage Droid Behavior’s event production and the D-node podcast. As performers, Raíz fully harness the capabilities of technology to create a thick blend of Detroit-influenced techno and hard, gritty house. Giuseppe Maffei alias Z.I.P.P.O is an Italian DJ who prefers to use a variety of sounds and styles to create his own unique brand of sampling. With several solo releases and innovative collaborations, Z.I.P.P.O also worked in a project along with a Detroit underground legend Fanon Flower. The result was named ‘EP SAV_002’ produced by the label Suburban Avenue.
