Post Scriptum reprises the surprising and explosive live show that was one of the most talked about acts of the aftershow program during last year’s Atonal Festival. Post Scriptum’s nuclear sounding tracks were unearthed by the “Sandwell District” co- label owner Function. Post Scriptum released a debut album of Millsian disciplines simply called Post Scriptum 01 on Infrastructure New York and respected press outlets hailed his debut. Classic techno sound sources are clear to hear, alongside complex processing and a very original approach to arrangement that flavours and colours each track. Post Scriptum’s world, full of dystopian overtones, will be an absorbing place to really get lost in. A self-confessed Noisician, Paula Temple obliterated 2014 with ‘Deathvox’, her second monumental release for the legendary label R&S. Her debut ‘Colonized’ EP made one of biggest statements in 2013 for uncompromising techno, followed by remixes for avant-electronic acts The Knife, Perera Elsewhere and Planningtorock. Such refreshing high-voltage output has rapidly placed Paula Temple at the forefront of new techno. Irish artist Sunil Sharpe is a rising star in his country and gathering steam at international gigs. An excellent techno DJ, he also teaches a DJ course and is drawn to a particularly restless style of techno production—see releases for Works The Long Nights, Brothers, Trensmat and his own label, On The Hoof—that feature warped sound design and high-impact arrangements. Returning artist Nur Jaber has made her way within some of Berlin’s best underground clubs, delivering fine sets of her deepest techno to thrilled crowds. The past few years in Berlin has seen Nur Jaber play most clubs and make strong impressions amongst fellow DJs/producers as well as the crowd. With her first EP out on her own imprint OSF and many more in the pipeline she has also landed a residency at About Blank part of the STAUB collective. In Globus Marieu and Lucretio are THE ANALOGUE COPS, the founding members of the Restoration assault unit, one of the last independent underground labels on the planet. Their message is pure analogue Techno that comes from Chicago House music, from Larry Levan´s disco, from George Clinton´s funk, from Miles Davis´s jazz; in a few words, uptempo danceable R&B music, pledged in a more dub and deep house-oriented project, but always deeply influenced by their passion for American music. Via the Elastic Dreams label, A Sagittariun has issued a handful of 12” discs, each one armed with breadth and sustenance, exploring the outer reaches of deep and thoughtful electronic music, where possible accompanied by a message of hope. Using the dream process as a springboard for musical activity, A Sagittariun has indulged in astrological techno, spiritual house music, bass heavy dub rhythms and ambient paths, culminating in the debut album, ‘Dream Ritual’, released on the first day of the Sagittarius’ zodiac timeframe, 2013. Jamie Russell aka Cedric Maison, is label head at UK club institution ‘Hypercolour’ which is now considered one of the most important record labels of our modern day, pushing interesting, forward-thinking strains of House & Techno. Cedric Maison’s sets are hypnotic, groove based house with hints of techno which captivate as much as they motivate dancefloors. Returning artist Richard Zepezauer’s label “n s y d e” is his own personal way of keeping this focus alive. The broad range displayed in his DJ sets testifies of his lifelong passion for music and record digging, and his recent cooperation with various renowned 20th century classics ensembles is a testament of Richard Zepezauer‘s diversity.
