We welcome back in our home and the Globus decks Aux88, Detroit’s electro and bass-heavy techno pioneers Tom Tom and K-1, Tommy Hamilton & Keith Tucker.  To many, the name Aux88 has long been synonymous with the term Techno Bass. Having been influenced by the early days of Detroit Techno, as well as the glory days of the Electro Funk and Miami Bass era, the duo had the vision to create something that could actually become a style of Electro, helping not just to revive it, but also to give it a direction which the sound could take and evolve from what it once was…and that’s exactly what happened. Techno Bass/Aux88 from the legendary Direct Beat Record Label created a sound that would soon take over the Detroit dance scene, eventually moving on to revolutionize Europe and beyond. Binh has become almost synonymous with the sounds of modern underground Berlin; but it was the training the Düsseldorf native received throughout the country that allowed him to hone tastes and skills before arriving in the capital to claim a stake in its bustling music scene. Binh was able to quickly stand out from among the masses thanks to an extremely particular taste in music and sets overflowing with deep house and techno of the most refined variety, defined by subtlety and sprinkled with the delightfully unexpected. As a refinement for this Globus program we’ve selected two of our skilled residents Magda El Bayoumi and Reka. The Tresor Floor will give you a terrific, powerful set by our club techno Künstler and label artist Pacou, who has delivered excellent releases and cracking dancefloor madness since Tresor’s earliest years. SDX is the producer alias of Suicide Berlin resident DJ BeNi, also a guest in our home. His latest release “The Day She Asks For Forgiveness” on SCR Dark Series features fine tracks from electro to 808 banger to minimalistic string themes. Bangin’ resident Marcel Heese completes the line-up.
