There is not a major electronic club, event or festival in the world that has not hosted the renowned Swedish artist Cari Lekebusch. A key ambassador in exporting the techno beats that proliferated from his homeland, a term which was then aptly coined by many as ‘Swedish Techno’. The impressive repertoire on his own H-Productions label has become a mainstay of the genre, permeating into the crates of the global electronic music community. Cari’s extraordinary set will be accompanied by sets from our residents Tangible Assets owner Stojche Cvetanovski and energized HGR. On the Globus Floor: Regarding Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus (aka Maurizio) as his main influence, Steve O’Sullivan is a UK based producer releasing on Sushitech and on his own labels Mosaic and Bluespirit. Steve produces slowly evolving, very minimal, soulful club tracks on his labels Bluetrain and Green, showing his love for subtle sounds and dub effects. He also ran the Bluespirit label, on which he collaborated with Ben Sims, Lee Grainge and Russ Gabriel. Canadian artist Vincent Lemieux is one of the programers, along with Alain Mongeau and Patti Schmidt, of Montreal’s Mutek, one of the premiere electronic music festivals in the world. His deep and velvety grooves have found themselves on labels such as CCCLTD, Musique Risquée and Perlon. Also premiering in Tresor Club tonight is Oscar Schubaq, a Berlin-based DJ & producer, running the vinyl only label Tardis Records together with Eli Verveine. His style combines all shades of underground house music to deep and dubby techno. Together with Verveine he launched the vinyl-only Tardis in 2012, which is focused on releasing their own music and also productions from well respected artists from the past. Tresor resident Handmade provides fine beats to fill this optimal Globus program.
