Roman Lindau is a young artist on Mike Dehnert’s Berlin label Fachwerk and music has always coursed through his blood. Even if he weren’t the accomplished producer and respected DJ he is today, the German audiophile would still be spending all his money on the stuff; giving over all his time to the art form. Antaeus Lando Roy aka Lando‘s strains of classic house, techno, acid, and electro are the stuff of club heaven. Lando filters his disparate influences through a distinct lens, one that favors pulsing basslines, trippy melodies, and machine-made funk that carries over into his DJ sets. Now he’s started up his own label, Myth Music, alongside fellow Berlin expat Aaron Castle, all the while playing in top clubs in the capital and across the country. Brothers In Love is a Berlin label featuring excellent house tunes by a talented group of artists. Members Michael Nadjé and Ricardo Esposito have released tracks on the label but it is the sublime BIL Podcast #2 that feature the two creating house music magic together – some magic we are especially pleased to welcome back tonight. In the basement: Drumcode artist Kyle Geiger continues to push the boundaries of his sound through the creation of his own label known as Cubera. Kyle has been able to create a more moody and memorable collection of productions as well as expressing himself artistically on some of the best international record labels. Sebastian Bayne is a DJ, producer and label owner based in Sydney Australia. His music is fast gaining the support of this peers as it is developing into his unique take on techno, as well as taking the reins of IF? label in 2010 from long time techno cohort Andrez Bergen aka Little Nobody, in 2010. IF? Records was established in Melbourne in 1995, has over 130 releases, and a roster that reads like a who’s who of the underground in the last 15 years.
