Since Oscar Mulero mixed and released Unknown Landscapes Vol.1 on his PoleGroup label in 2013, the series has seen three more editions by members of this rigorous Iberian project, and tonight Vol.4 celebrates its release and the edition’s mixer PoleGroup artist Reeko. Clearly frontrunning innovators in modern techno, the PoleGroup family of electronic music artists are frequent guests in our home and tonight Reeko, a live set by Exium, plus sets by Kessell and Refracted will all make sure that the Tresor Floor is pounded with sounds of today and of the future. Listen to Unknown Landscapes Vol.4 by Reeko here. In Globus: Roman Lindau is a young artist on Mike Dehnert’s Berlin label Fachwerk and music has always coursed through his blood. Even if he weren’t the accomplished producer and respected DJ he is today, the German audiophile would still be spending all his money on the stuff; giving over all his time to the art form. Sascha Rydell is the gentleman of Fachwerk. He is one third key member of the Fachwerk triumvirate that is leading the way in stripped, funky, dancefloor focused techno. The stuff is in his bones, frankly, and that shines through in his own idiosyncratic tracks and EP’s, as does his ear for an unfamiliar hook, ability to craft a devastating bassline or most inviting groove. We also welcome Stephen Hill back to the Globus decks, he is co-founder of Vidab Records together with Oliver Deutschmann, a platform to express their idea of timeless club music.
