Inspired by a raw and urban UK techno lineage, returning artist Kieran Whitefield aka Ansome‘s drums are heavyweight, his percussion fierce and his synths full blooded. All in all that makes for a live set that grabs your attention and drags you along for an enthralling ride. Littered with his own field recordings, it can be variously eerie or boisterous. Besides producing and releasing music on many top labels, Ansome also keeps busy by running his own label South London Analogue Material. Few have a recent back catalogue as rich and diverse as Randomer. His discography reads like a who’s who of modern techno: across a six year career, he’s produced four EPs for Untold’s Hemlock Recordings; released records for Hessle Audio, Numbers and Clone; and most recently, been cherrypicked for Ron Morelli’s L.I.E.S. As a DJ, Randomer is one of the UK’s finest, capable of effortlessly stitching together modern bass with classic techno and less esoteric 4/4 rhythms. Elad Magdasi is a young techno DJ who also bleeds acid into his sets that are simply infectious in their tremendous energy level and bangin’ quality, which he brought to the Tresor Floor only a few months back. Denise Rabe has dipped her hands in many projects, from hosting a show on Berlin’s infamous Sweatlodge Radio to handling bookings at Berlin’s open-air venues. This rich, diverse range of experience has all influenced Denise in a grand way, ultimately leading to production sessions in the studio, and her vinyl debut in 2015. Upstairs in the +4Bar: returning artist Niels Luinenburg aka Delta Funktionen produces delicious techno works of intricate, moody forces. Also a resident at Amsterdam’s LET – les enfants terribles – Delta Funktionen is content to go about his business quietly, and the Dutchman now spins a genre-defiant blend of Detroit techno, Chicago-licked house, crafty old school electro and sparkling Italo disco at clubs around the globe. Ori & Charly are Tv.out from Tel Aviv, the duo producing and releasing a plethora of outstanding  electronica on Parallax, Altered States Isaiah Tapes among others.
