Techno DJ and producer Dustin Zahn is based in Minneapolis, US. He is co-founder of Abiotic Recordings and Enemy Records and internationally known for his trademark powerful and dark techno sound since his 1998 beginnings. Earning respect among techno and house legends, purists, and contemporary DJs, Dustin Zahn has a preference for marathon sets: with his laid-back approach to life and music, he seamlessly traverses through various genres which creates a unique, hypnotic vibe that isn’t found among most DJs. We welcome back our friend Vince Watson: the Scottish artist now based in Amsterdam was signed onto Dave Angel’s Rotation Records already in 1995: his work caused a catatonic impact in the global electronic scene for setting a personal hypnotic perspective of groovy, melody and atmospheric sounds. After six albums Vince Watson founded his own label, Bio Music, and has consistently produced quality techno, with support and high profile licenses from the likes of Carl Cox to Laurent Garnier. Quality techno calls for quality resident support, and HGR is the man for the mission. In Globus: Deadbeat is Scott Monteith, an adopted Montrealer who has been releasing his own special blend of dub laden, minimal electronics since 2000. It’s been 6 months since Deadbeat presented us with his big project “Walls and Dimensions”, his tenth album on Deadbeat‘s label BLKRTZ, and like his last three releases it finds itself in record stores around the planet, where his last two EPs are already available. Whether crafting quirky, not-quite-dancefloor techno, or rumbling digital dub, Scott continually strives to create music that honors the past beyond empty tribute or cultural appropriation, by infusing the digital tools of the present with a little of the magic known as human imperfection. Mike Dehnert is a Berlin producer, live act/DJ and frequent guest in Tresor Club for many years, where his fan base has consistently grown. Since 2007 he has managed his own label Fachwerk Records, distinguishing himself as a cutting-edge live performer of urban electronica straight outta Berlin but radiating to the world. Returning artist Kenneth Christiansen has been DJing all over Europe the last decade, playing in top clubs in most capitals. Apart from running the labels Echocord and Echocord Colour, and the Pattern Repeat project with Resoe, he is also booker/co-owner/manager of the club Culture Box in Copenhagen. Idealist is an artist hailing from Zurich, and with his eponymous label he has released some finely tuned dub techno shining tracks. With his parallel efforts Details I & II, a lot of DJs worldwide are talking about his tracks, a truly gifted artist delivered his Tresor debut live set last May.
