The Persuader is none other than mighty electronic artist Jesper Dahlbäck. One of Sweden’s leading DJ/producers with a lengthy back catalogue to his name, his production collaborations count among international artists such as Jori Hulkkonen, Tiga, Adam Beyer, Thomas P Heckman, Pan Pot, Len Faki as well as into Tiga remixes of Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, LCD Soundsytem, Robyn and The Knife together. Jesper Dahlback now also runs his new label called International Sound Laboratory or just ISL, an imprint working as a experimental platform for the new era in techno music. Describing his music as “a researcher and developer of unheard sounds” we welcome his Persuader moniker tonight with a DJ set of old and new magic. Patrik Skoog as Agaric explores the deeper realms of techno and house, notably with productions on his well-received label/project named “We Are”. A technical DJ with great sense for momentum and track selection, Agaric performs a deeper variety of tracks with a passionate flourish. Double this excellent Globus line-up with our monthly quality house resident Barbara Preisinger and Hadas Cohen aka Dasco. In the basement Tresor Floor, techno DJ and producer Dustin Zahn is based in Minneapolis, US. He is co-founder of Abiotic Recordings and Enemy Records and internationally known for his trademark powerful and dark techno sound since his 1998 beginnings. Weaving through various genres which creates a unique, hypnotic vibe, his live set is a thrill to be sure. Fellow Drumcode artist Kyle Geiger continues to push the boundaries of his sound through the creation of his own label known as Cubera. Kyle has been able to create a more moody and memorable collection of productions as well as expressing himself artistically on some of the best international record labels. Ray Kajioka is a German techno producer, DJ and live performer since 1995. He is well-known for his work on Kanzleramt Music, Rotation Records, MakTub, Müller Records, as well as his remixes for names like Dave Clarke, Pawas, Joel Mull and Beroshima. A distinguishing and striking aspect of his music is certainly the warm, spherical and impulsive sound with roots in the Detroit vibe. The entire line-up is backed up by the techno mastery of our basement resident Manuel Münster.
