Traversable Wormhole is one of two live projects of Adam X and his most popular project to date. After its start in 2009 as a series of anonymously produced ink stamped vinyl that stirred the global techno scene with its mysterious guise, the project quickly received huge support from many of the world’s most renowned techno shops and globally respected DJs. Traversable Wormhole tracks have been remixed by some of the best in the scene and released on Chris Liebing’s imprint CLR and Traversable Wormhole Records. The sound of Traversable Wormhole is a unique sci-fi laden techno with gaps of time, space & bass in between sound & rhythm. Those familiar with Oliver Ho’s fearsome and often brutal futurist early EPs on Blueprint and his more recent avant techno/house Raudive material will be aware of his ability to inject a dark narrative into functional electronics. With Broken English Club he delivers monotone vocals and shards of live instrumentation over stuttering beats and bleak synths. The blank-stared, pin-point-focused electronics and layers of noise betray no/wave and post punk influences, dragging together industrial experimentation and pitch-black techno. Irakli Kiziria is a Berlin-based DJ, manipulating drones and hypnotizing people as the ½ of the unit I/Y. Tresor resident REKA is a fine compliment to the Tresor Floor program. Upstairs in Globus: Cab Drivers is the duo project of Berlin artists Daniel Paul & Jens Augustowsky aka Sky. In 1994 they founded Cabinet Records and with that they became among the first to forge a new aesthetic in house music, made of chasing, advanced 909 programming, clean, minimalist sound design and subtle lines of funk and latin melodies. Cab Drivers’ very infectious and engaging sound has been reflected on innumerous Cabinet releases and on other respected labels. We welcome back to Tresor Club Cinthie, a Berlin-based DJ and producer, and the creative mind behind the Beste Modus and Unison Wax record labels. Linked by a shared penchant for good house music and a love of Berlin’s unending parties, the crew have already pressed four eagerly-sought-after white label 12″s together. If that wasn’t enough, Cinthie also owns and runs the ‘Stasi Studios’ complex – so called because the building once functioned as a Stasi office! Enriching the line-up are also Apollonia’s Ivan Iacobucci from Berlin and Trilogy Tapes artist Battista also from Berlin
