Few producers have so impressively shaped the intersection between techno and IDM like Brit artist Inigo Kennedy. With his sound design approach on hard 4/4 structures, Kennedy not only created his own unique work but also cemented international attention to his approach that corresponds with a panorama of styles. Worshipped by fans and loved by critics. Sitting in the plane from the UK is Cleric, a young talent who has in 2014 released a series of work on Len Faki’s Figure label and London’s EarToGround Records, plus a damn new good one as well. Both UK artists will be supported tonight by new faces host Synthek and club resident Mareena. In the +4Bar Chili Fries slides into the number 12 slot and assembles three Berliners who have been associated heavily with the soul and funk of house music and the development of its style. Woody‘s Fumakilla has been a top guide in the neofunk edge of reduced house music for the last 15 years – a luminary of the genre. The self-taught jack of all trades Sven Weisemann finds his craft somewhere between dubby tech-house and jazz/soundtrack compositions that transcend age and era-defining. The connecting link in this terrific line-up tonight is the deep house and ossilating, soulful techno style of Iron Curtis, who defines himself (acc.to RA) as “German Jimpster” and building a large and loyal fan following. Hot stuff!
