It’s time again for the thundering basement vibes created by Ed2000’s Dangerous Drums posse, and the party night that packs a whallop. With a crew of top-notch residents and international invited guests, Dangerous Drums is a Berlin techno institution and you can be a part of it tonight – the last one of 2015! invited guest Benny III is a DJ and producer (as well as being one half of Horsepower Productions), he is half of the outfit Dub War and also records under the alias High Planes Drifter, plus he collaborates with Big Apple’s DJ Hatcha and DJ Dinesh / Goldspot for projects on Tempa. In late 2005 Benny III relocated from Croydon, UK to New York to continue his production work with Dinesh. Tanith, Rollin’ Thunder, Scratch, DJ Vela and Ed2000 pull no punches for no-nonsense dancing pleasure. Upstairs in Globus you can expect two top talents of the electronic music olymp: Funk D’Void and Detroitrocketscience aka Alan Oldham. Lars Sandberg AKA Funk D’Void, is a DJ and producer who has been at the forefront of the global electronic music scene since the mid-90s. After a string of hits over the years, plus some killer remixes for the likes of Underworld, New Order and Kevin Saunderson, Funk D’Void is probably best known for the end-of-nighter ‘Diabla’ which bridged house and techno. The talented Scotsman is one of the busiest DJs on the circuit today and we welcome him back to our decks tonight. Detroitrocketscience is the newest moniker/project for Detroit legend Alan Oldham, an artist who die-hard techno fans will know well from his first artist name DJ T-1000, under which he released seminal tracks for our own Tresor Records imprint. For the past few years, Alan has presented his Detroitrocketscience sets at venues around the world: elegant, minimalist, digital sounds to mix with the soul of the city, a flight vector that puts us in touch with the depths of our senses. Tresor resident Magda El Bayoumi fits perfectly as support for tonight’s basement techno stew.
