Tresor meets Deep In The Box

For those who will visit this regular party for the first time: frequent guest DJ Barbara Preisinger, who heads her own vinyl label Slice Of Life, presents her Deep In The Box evenings in Tresor, whole nights of warm, kicking house and deep techno. From her hometown of Munich to success in Berlin, Barbara founded first the “scape”  label with Stefan Betke aka Pole and became a regular DJ in many Berlin clubs. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno – often incorporating the music of many notable friends and artists. Tonight’s invited guests: Russ Gabriel is one of the U.K.’s most respected producers, having recorded nearly one hundred EPs and several albums since 1991. Russ is also the founder of Ferox Records and the house music label – Soul On Wax Communications and runs Funky Barber Films. Marc Schneider is an influential DJ and producer from Hamburg who has never missed any major development or pivotal release in quality dance music. Marc Schneider can flex is DJ muscles in so many different ways and sensibly guide the crowd through a tasteful and kicking mixture of all things house and techno. On the Tresor Floor: And if you haven’t had the chance to catch a set by Marc FM, now is your chance. The Berlin decks-hand is well-known in the underground Berlin venues, no stranger to our home and you can expect something wonderful in his sound. Downstairs in Tresor: a re-welcome goes to artist Marcos Leiras aka Leiras with a special live set tonight, a persistent DJ, producer and live performer settled in Berlin. After releasing music under several aliases and different labels around the world, he plays now as Leiras and created the Ownlife platform, a new project, focused on the mental and hypnotic side of techno. Returning artist and Token Records label chief Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. With fast & tight mixing, properly dosed with cuts & scratches, Kr!z is a respected & established artist in Belgium for a decade with his label, and a resident DJ for Belgium’s legendary techno night ‘Kozzmozz’ – his DJ schedule now takes him all over the world. Aleja Sanchez is a Colombian DJ and producer, who has shared decks not only in her natal Bogota with some international names including Ricardo Garduno, Inside Out, Drumcell and Troy Pierce among others, but has been invited to play in some of the most important cities all over Colombia because her quality skills to perform cutting-edge techno music. We also welcome back after a long absence Ron Albrecht who began his musical career in the early nineties. Between 1997 and 2002 Ron Albrecht additionally worked as a producer together with his associate Thomas Kuffner, releasing several records under the labels Sind Records and ElektronikParlament. He also worked as co-operator of the Easytraxx record stores in Schwerin from 1995 to 2006. His name is still closely connected to the old-established Gerberei Club in Schwerin, which the co-founder, organizer and resident ran from 1994 until its closing in 2013.
