Tresor Meets Deep in the Box
Sat 14 May 2016 - 23:59

Deep In The Box is a whole night of warm, kicking house and deep techno, hosted by Barbara Preisinger since 2009. The Slices Of Life label owner’s passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno all the while remaining open towards interesting and outstanding tunes that make you move. Manning the decks herself with her signature style, Barbara Preisinger welcomes two invited guests: Franco Cinelli is one of the most well known techno DJ/producers in Argentina. His DJ sets are an harmonic blend between different styles rounded by a flawless mixing technique. Franco Cinelli is becoming one of the most requested producers in the ‘minimal world’ having a lot of EPs, remixes and tracks in his discography, the main highlight being his album for Alphahouse Records. Topping off the talent roster is returning artist and Satisfaction chief Marc Fm to burn up the dancefloor. Downstairs the heat is on: Vault Series label head Subjected returns, giving once again strong evidence that the label is overwhelmingly aspiring as a contemporary techno platform. Deep in the underground, Subjected stands for distinctly deep, identifiable techno. Designed in the shadows, to be consumed in the darkness. Returning artist Rob Kirkaldy aka Roberto is a London-based techno producer, DJ and remixer. Considered to be one of the most exciting new UK Techno artists in recent years, he combines influences from Detroit and underground Dutch Techno, to create his own sound unique to the UK. His sets explore many angles of techno, which has seen him play at some of the most well respected clubs around the world. Besides releasing on various top labels and remixing for international artists, at the beginning of 2015 Roberto launched his own Fossil Archive label. And yet another returning techno artist: under the guise Blue Hour, British producer/DJ Luke Standing has carved his unique imprint and distinctive sound not only onto the UK Techno scene but the global dance community as a whole. A series of notably designed 12″s delve forward and strike classically with a fresh, exciting fusion of functionality and traditionalism of dancefloor focused techno, intimately driven by the spirit and energy of the 90s, Millsian futurism and timeless electronica.
