Tresor meets Deep in the Box
Sat 19 November 2016 - 23:59

Thomas Franzmann aka Zip aka Dimbiman, co-founder of the label Perlon, is familiar with the dancefloors around the world and famous for his tremendous minimal shifts within the 4/4 scheme. With illustrious collaborations and remixes, Zip also participates in the Narod Niki project, occasional collective laptop live jams initiated by Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin. Flashes of kitsch brighten the dark universe of Iron Curtis, but fail to interfere with the melancholy subtext. He is currently living in Berlin and releasing for Mirau, Retreat, Mule Electronic, Smallville to name a few. Bastian Volker is Baaz, a DJ and producer from Berlin, who is also the founder of his own Office Recordings, on which he has just released Office 09 (Untitled) with 4 intense house groover tracks. Frequent guest DJ Barbara Preisinger is also on the program, who heads her own vinyl label Slice Of Life. From her hometown of Munich to success in Berlin, she founded first the “scape” label with Stefan Betke aka Pole and became a regular DJ in many Berlin clubs. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno – often incorporating the music of many notable friends and artists. In the Tresor basement: Unbroken artist Héctor Oaks was born in Madrid and now lives in Berlin. He is a young artist who is enjoying a lot of success both as a DJ and as a producer. Héctor Oaks continues to increase in recent years by releasing on diverse labels as well as his own Oaks imprint. Powerful, deep, raw and emotive, his style juxtaposes classic and soulful Detroit and Chicago sounds with Berlin’s modern, strong and gritty atmosphere, while simultaneously infusing his trademark of authentic and enthralling melodies. Insolate, artist formerly known as Miss Sunshine, is a DJ, producer, label owner and a promoter in business for 20 years now and considered as one of the best techno artist from Croatia. She plays all over the world in top clubs and festivals, and in 2015 she launched a successful vinyl label Out of Place. Manuel Münster’s driving techno set is a solid support for this basement line-up.
