Tresor meets Deep In The Box
Sat 20 May 2017 - 23:59

Frequent guest DJ Barbara Preisinger, who heads her own vinyl label Slice Of Life, presents her guest evening “Deep In The Box” once again tonight –  whole night of warm, kicking house and deep techno. From her hometown of Munich to success in Berlin, Barbara founded first the “scape”  label with Stefan Betke aka Pole and became a regular DJ in many Berlin clubs. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno – often incorporating the music of many notable friends and artists.  returning Canadian artist Colin de la Plante aka The Mole made a name for himself in the Montreal scene, including 7 years of residency at the Laika bar and numerous appearances at the MUTEK Festival, before he eventually decided to call Berlin his home and bring to fruition his own label Maybe Tomorrow (co-run by Jon Berry of Kompakt). True Berliner Borrowed Identity is a DJ, producer and remixer widely recognised as a chameleon within the electronic music scene. He can tastefully and strategically mix various forms of house, techno and disco depending on his reaction to the environment and the crowd, expanding his skills towards a more freestyle manner if he feels is appropriate for the occasion. Complimenting the program is local Berlin dancefloor burner and Satisfaction artist Marc fm. On the Tresor Floor: returning to the decks is YYYY, a mysterious duo from Argentina with little personal information, but their music speaks for itself. Strange textures, industrial sounds, lost voices in the background, and an intensely hypnotic groove. Vault Series is the artistically serious techno label from Berlin, founded by DJ and producer Subjected, and projected through various top-notch releases by a troupe of loyal label artists and cutting-edge DJs Sawlin, Escape To Mars and Mistake Made. Last year’s Vault Series 20.0 finds Subjected in fine form with four tracks of driving, infectious techno.  Irakli Kiziria and Yacoub Chakarji are I/Y who produce “machine sounds for sensible minds”. Described as elegant and warm, the mystery and hypnotic tendencies of I/Y’s set will envelope you. Providing excellent support is our liebling resident HGR, known for his versatile sets and agility to move between moods.
