Berlin:Detroit – The Techno Alliance. The capitals united stroblight/fog as the Detroit Techno Militia is again in Tresor! Spearheaded by DTM 2X4 which denotes the four turntables-armed performance ensemble DJ Seoul and T.Linder, downstairs they will light the 313 torch in the spiritually connected home of techno and electro styles. The DTM gang tonight consists of: Benelux’s militia outpost artist Dimitri Pike; the Detroit-Berlin commuting DTM collaborator and Homopatik resident Mad Alba; as well as Emanuel Eisbrenner who is one half of the duo Sub Dealers with Tresor legend Mad Max. Alden Tyrell is sometimes regarded as the “silent hero” of the Dutch scene. On his score sheet you will find illustrious collaborations with Mike Dunn, Egyptian Lover, Gerd and Clone boss Serge, a good chain of solo releases and most notably innumerous mastering jobs for labels from Alleviated, Clone and Crème Organization to Viewlexx – all the while steering clear of star ambition. Instead Alden Tyrell unpretentiously concentrates himself on his typical sound positioned between imported Chicago-Detroit basics and exported Den Haag-ish punk influences (I-F, Legowelt, etc.). Tonight Globus revelers get it all in a complete live version. Complimenting this you’ve got Elbee Badd – an absolute pearl of the Rush Hour reissue canons; our good friend Lando and house lady Bloody Mary for some top club night fortification.
