Again presenting the monthly E-MAN-CI-PATE night in the +4Bar are resident house music legends Tyree Cooper and Bobby Starrr, who introduce a top guest in the house music vein for every party. Entertaining each segment with an international artist, the mood is hot, adult and for house music lovers. Parris Mitchell is a name synonymous with Dance Mania, the Chicago record label founded by Jesse Saunders that pioneered ghetto house. Emerging in the late ’80s, Dance Mania sparked a hard, fast, sexually charged form of four-to-the-floor which continues to resonate throughout club music today. Though Parris Mitchell had other aliases (Pleasure Inc., Rhythm II Rhythm, Victor Romeo), it’s frenetic cuts like ‘Ghetto Shout Out’ and ‘All Night Long’ that laid him down in ghetto house history, as well as the mad acid/jazz/booty fusion that is the ‘Life In The Underground’ album, which fizzes with unbridled electricity. The Tresor Floor braces for another issue of NEXT, featuring four international artists. The German raised/china based artists Below Surface and Florian Bo team up for their collaboration project Absorbed. Straight Techno, preformed live and in DJ sets on international stages, we welcome them in Tresor tonight. Sebastian Bayne is a DJ, producer and label owner based in Sydney Australia. His music is fast gaining the support of this peers as it is developing into his unique take on techno. IF? Records is Sebastian‘s most recent project, having taken it over from long time techno cohort Andrez Bergen aka Little Nobody, in 2010. Module artist Capo from Poland also shares the decks, as well as Julian Muller, a French vinyl junkie with a techno mission. Based in Berlin, he recently rocked the Tresor floor, providing his acidic creepy banging selection, sharing a bit of his madness. He considers any party set as a new backtobasics experience, going through all kinds of techno, connecting his latest crushes to true classics.
