Electric Indigo’s project is an international network of female artists in the fields of electronic music and digital arts: from musicians, composers and DJs to visual artists, cultural workers and researchers. A globally eclectic night is always guaranteed! Maral Salmassi’s music career began in 1997 when she founded her first label Konsequent, on which she released music by artists such as Jay Denham, Christian Morgenstern, Fanon Flowers, and Alexander Kowalski, among others. In 1998 Maral co-founded the Cologne-based Techno and Electro distribution company Formic, which served as one of the most radical distributers of Detroit Techno and abstract electronica and was the sole European distributor for many underground labels. After a long hiatus Salmassi has both relaunched the Konsequent label and resume production work. From Lyon, France, Sandra & Joséphine are Cacophoneuses. Alessia D’Artino is A/Ona, a musician, DJ and party promoter who since moving to Berlin in 2006 has developed diverse projects, including the launch of Poopsy Club, an underground party that formed and inspired queer identities and experiences in Berlin. She created the Drone events in Berlin, and currently A/Ona is involved in two musical projects: a solo entitled HOW, based on post-wave, noise and industrial, and a duo named Toise, where she explores in collaboration with Nekrobot (Sabbat Berlin) concrete sounds and ambient/experimental noise. Anna Bolena, a techno DJ in the alternative scene in Italy and Europe since 1995, is best known for her visceral, industrial sounds, her long and consistent journey through the underground. Interested in innovations and challenges, she runs the music label Idroscalo Dischi since 1999. Frequent Tresor guest Kaltès is a musician, producer with an extensive background in music and art.. Now a passionate collector of strange and rare instruments, Kaltès is the sound-infatuated half of Anna Otto. She is also known as the promoter of “It’s Not Only Techno, Baby!”, an event she regularly host in Istanbul. On the +4Bar decks: Ah! Kosmos is Başak Günak born in Istanbul. Her debut EP “Flesh” is released by Muzik Hayvanı label in May 2013 and her debut LP “Bastards” is released by Denovali Records in April 2015. Other than live performances, Ah! Kosmos has made composition & sound design for contemporary dance, theaters, short-films and site-specific performances in several international art spaces. Anika, whose self-titled debut, Anika, produced by Geoff Barrow of Portishead, is out now on Stones Throw Records. The collaboration is political, trashy, dub, punk, funk … a cohesive sound, and and experience in uneasy listening. From Romania and now residing in Berlin, Borusiade aka Miruna Boruzescu started DJing in 2002 as one of the only female DJs in the city’s emerging alternative clubbing scene. Her DJ sets combine bold and obscure sounds and genres fluctuating mostly in the field of dark disco, industrial and tropical weirdness, some house with an acid touch. The sound is gloomy and powerful, with beats that touch one’s deepest senses on the dance floor. American artist Sky Deep is a producer, DJ, musician and live performer. Now living in Berlin, she has played her live and DJ sets throughout the US and Europe. Her sets keep dancers on their toes with high energy, funky G-House, Breaks and Tech beats. Sky Deep makes a musical journey from deep grinds to futuristic to wild with freak-sexy edge. In 2012, she launched Reveller Records.
