Tresor meets Furthur Electronix
Sat 17 August 2019 - 23:59

Furthur Electronix is a label created by Anil Lal and graphic designer/artist Majkel. The majority of Furthur Electronix releases are distributed through Subwax BCN. A label that puts out good quality electronic music, in the forms of Techno, Deep house, IDM, Electro and Acid. On hand to treat us to a label showcase tonight is founder Anil from Barcelona. Invited label guests Cignol from Dublin and UK artist Kosmik Kommando complete the showcase line-up. Also behind the Globus decks is Berlin-based Axiom, whose experimental sounds became the gravitational point of his musical interests. In 2006 Axiom launched with Huron, the Creative Commons based netlabel Crazy Language for contemporary electronic music such as Ambient, IDM, Electronica, Glitch, Experimental etc. which accumulated 50 releases so far, also audio/visual releases are to find there.  Deeply rooted in the Brussels electronic music scene as DJ and producer since 1993, Peter Van Hoesen is considered by many as a man with multiple musical talents: from straight-up dancefloor jackin’ techno to advanced abstract electronica, and the unforgettable hardware approach to his unique and dramatic live sets. Peter’s tracks and remixes have been released on his own labels Time To Express and Foton, as well as many others, not to mention his exceptional “Life Performance“ 14-tracks performed live in Tresor Club in 2013. (Tresor.265). Returning artist Takaaki Itoh is a Japanese techno producer, DJ and promoter who founded the internationally acclaimed Wols label and endears his fanbase with his ever-powerful, driving techno sets with a very modern approach. Since the late 90s Takaaki has released an impressive amount of quality recordings on top labels, touring the world playing his unique sound at top venues and festivals, and finding time to create his minimal production under the alias of Yarda. Masayuki Kurihara aka Masa  is mainly known as a psychedelic trance Dj but is also a highly professional sound creator involved in various movie soundtracks and sound generator programming for Roland and other music companies. Masa is one of the few people who introduced GOA trance in the early 90s to Japan. With an in-depth knowledge of synthesizer programming that began with his first noise band he originally concentrated his efforts on making new and original sounds more than DJing. Early in his career Masa played with famous Dj Hamase as X-Tron and has since collaborated worldwide with famous artists like Xavier, Ray Castle, Mike Maguire, and Tsuyosh’s band Joujouka.
