ISNISNT is the newly minted imprint of Jesse Siminski aka Heartthrob, purveyor of chrome-plated cosmic funk. The newly established label promises to deliver leftfield sounds within the house, disco and techno sphere from the American producer, acting as an outlet for his own productions and collaborations. After discovering the Detroit and Chicago vibe, moving to New York, befriending Magda and debuting an EP on Ritchie Hawtin’s Minus label, Heartthrob moved to Paris and then to Berlin where he released his debut long-player “Dear Painter, Paint Me”. His style is unique and vibrant, a live performance of high quality dance music. American Troy Pierce‘s sound is one which has constantly veered from dense, layered and abstract to stripped down, acid infused and pulsing. His sonic palette is one that draws on a wide array of influences and reaches far outside the confines of the studio and into another world entirely. Fusing techno with minimalism, darkness with light and heaviness with rhythm, Troy Pierce has never been afraid to experiment in the outer regions of his vast musical universe. Alland Byallo is a DJ, producer, label owner (Bad Animal), graphic designer and event organizer – a tour de force within the club and underground music scenes. Gaining global attention producing gems for definitive record labels such asPoker Flat, Liebe*Detail, Real Tone, and Dirt Crew, Alland garnered overall praise for his full-length album release, Brick By Brick (2009) and his move to Berlin cemented his devotion to the techno-house sound. Italian-born Francesco de Luca received early inspiration from heroes Masters At Work, Larry Heard and Ron Trent, moved to Berlin and quickly assimilated the German techno influence into his own understanding of DJing and production, crafting a versatile sound that reveals a sophistication akin to DJs more than twice his age – an artist to watch. The basement Tresor program features punch and steam. Techno can do a lot, if you let it do so: that is Alex Bau‘s credo, and inspired the name of his very intelligent album “Credo” and the very intelligent label Credo. The “Bavarian techno machine” or “Mr. Gringotechno” is literally all over the electronic dance music spectrum, having also started the label “Toneman” back in 2000 and also started to his solo productions for labels like Chris Liebing`s CLR or the Montreal based label “Default Recordings”. Very much the chameleon, Alex Bau has been voted amongst the best DJ`s in Germany more than once. In an era of countless techno and house sub-genres, classifying Mexican artist Luis Flores’s sound is a difficult feat, and that is precisely its purpose. His personality and experience are present in every track he produces, where the normally inorganic techno manages to elicit large amounts of groove and sense of humor. Luis Flores‘s minimal use of elements results in a rich spectrum of textures and a dark and trippy dance floor pull, resulting in a hypnotic exploration of the possibilities of electronic production. Andre Kronert: analogue warmth meets raw energy: This furious mixture made Andre a synonym for powerful and high-octane club sound, as a DJ as well as a producer. Since 1994 the head honcho of Odd/Even, Night Drive Music, 3rd Wave Music and Neurotron Music, he has set on fire countless parties and festivals, proving himself to be a major reason for escalating atmospheres and bursting dance floors from Dubai to Georgia. These outstanding Tresor Floor artists are supported by our excellent, driving techno resident TAG.
