Amsterdam’s Radiate Booking is back in our house, introducing some outstanding talent again tonight, a handful of international guests well worth your attention. Whether doused in the grit of his hometown Glasgow, or expanded by the widescreen vistas of his current base, Barcelona, the music of Darren Roberts aka Deepbass has asserted it’s uniqueness within his preferred form of expression, rolling and tunneling techno, strong on propulsion and atmosphere. Collaborating with Italian producer Andrea Deplano, most widely known as Ness, and a commitment to the deeper, hypnotic side of techno on own label Informa Records (featuring another of tonight’s guests Reggy Van Oers), Deepbass creates something identifiably his own, but refuses to ever be limited by it or to get comfortable repeating just one thing. Artefakt is a collaboration between Dutch producers Robin Koek and Nick Lapien that share a love for melancholic, hypnotic voodoo music. They found a home for their sound at Field Records and released material on the München-based Prologue label. A full length EP on Delsin was released in September 2015. Reggy Van Oers (RVO) has definitely found a sound that fits the world of techno. His trademark has become a dive into trance-inducing darkness, which can be heard on his releases & remixes. With the experimental nature of his techno style he creates a 3-dimensional environment in his tracks, combining melodic elements with deep hypnotizing rhythms that roll off your body and stay ever changing. Reggy Van Oers‘s creative output has been released on many labels including Joachim Spieth’s Affin and Deepbass’ Informa. Born and raised in Milan, Wrong Assessment is a young DJ/producer influenced by Jeff Mills, psycho-neuro-endocrino-immunology and Splatter B-movies. Through his experience working at Serendeepity (a local record store) and as a household name in DUDE CLUB’s line-ups, Wrong Assessment refined his own take on techno. His M_Rec and Parachute tracks received positive echoes in the right places. In Globus: When not travelling the world accepting club invitations, Frank Roger spends time in his Parisian studio messing with beats and loops. The French house music DJ/producer takes things to another level as beat maker and talent scout through his Real Tone Records label. DJ Steaw is a DJ/producer based in Paris who is extremely impassionate about black music: from Gospel to Techno, without forgetting House music. Steaw gigs all around Europe and one year after his debut on his co-owned Rutilance Recordings he launched Steaward, a subdivision of Rutilance, which offers a different dimension and a harder side of his productions. Born in San Luis Argentina, Arnaldo fired up his turntable career in Manchester. With a solid London/UK legancy behind him, he is now based in Berlin and has been releasing excellent tracks over the last few years with productions out on Smallville, Greta Cottage and Blank Slate. Arnaldo‘s sets are flawless, a spectrum of the marvelously leftfield and funky, to dancefloor high-time frenzy.
