Tresor Meets Radiate
Sat 12 December 2015 - 23:59

Amsterdam’s Radiate Booking sends some top talent again tonight, with a handful of international guests well worth your attention. Field Recording and Prologue artist Lori is no stranger to the Tresor decks, he is a DJ and producer from Okinawa, Japan. Now based Berlin, Lori’s musical career started up in Naha, Okinawa in the late 90′s, moving through New York and back to Japan. Lori’s sound is characterised by heavy and bouncy rhythms, grand atmospheric synth layers to keep you dancing. Andrea Deplano aka Ness began his electronic music journey in the late 90’s and his evolving interest and passion soon encouraged him to start a DJ career experimenting with various genres – from trance to pure experimental. With a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning, he gradually developed a distinct personal style with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic vibes. Ryan James Ford is based in Berlin, having recently released on Marcel Dettman Recordings, spinning self-described “Balearic Techno” and calling Calgary, Canada his hometown. Invite carries well over fifteen years of love for techno and performing experience, one of Holland’s few true household names. A modest perfectionist at heart, he translates his passion and drive into outspoken and highly versatile DJ-sets. Highlighting venues and events all over the world, his Invite’s Choice podcasts are also worth checking out. Roman Lindau is a young artist on Mike Dehnert’s very Berlin label Fachwerk and music has always coursed through his blood. Even if he weren’t the accomplished producer and respected DJ he is today, the German audiophile would still be spending all his money on the stuff; giving over all his time to the art form. Mike Dehnert is also on the decks, a fine underground techno DJ who knows Tresor like few do, and whose label consistently deals in heavy techno sounds that are doused in dub and finished with an analogue authenticity which set them apart from the crowd. Kenneth Christiansen has been DJing all over Europe the last decade, playing in top clubs in most capitals. The Danish artist runs the labels Echocord and Echocord Colour, and the Pattern Repeat project with Resoe, as well as booker/co-owner/manager of the club Culture Box in Copenhagen.
