Tresor Meets Secretsundaze
Sat 28 November 2015 - 23:59

In this edition of the Berlin home of London’s Secretsundaze events, organizers James Priestley and Giles Smith return with their ultra-fresh and very UK stab at house tendencies à la Globus. Invited guest Bleak is from Sweden and whose sets seamlessly infuse house, electro and techno elements masterfully. His Secretsundaze “Open Space” EP as well as his Deeply Rooted House tracks reveal an innovative artist with a genuine mission. Constantly refining the combination of powerful rhythms and a surgical sense of timing sets him apart and makes for a genuine live experience. When it comes to direction, Bleak is somebody to count on. Manchester’s prominent eclecticist and Prime Numbers chief Trus’me has seen tremendous success both for his debut LPs, ‘Working Nights’ and ‘In The Red’ – after selling out at record stores from Manchester to Tokyo – and the same goes for his hypnotic, eclectic sets around the globe. With Prime Numbers quickly gaining an unfaltering reputation for highly collectable and exceptional music from artistes such as Move D, Actress, Linkwood, Fudge Fingas, Motorcity Drum Ensemble, Trus’me is constanstly on the move, in top international clubs and festivals. In the basement Tresor area: Dadub is a meeting of two minds, Daniele Antezza and Giovanni Conti, core artists of Stroboscopic Artefacts, a duo whose collaboration started not in their native Italy, but in Berlin. Dadub take sound and process it to extract depth and expose human warmth. They take dub and push it into the deepest corners of techno and out to the ambient-IDM fringes, deconstruct or reconstruct it spontaneously into a seriously deep experience, and have been showcased internationally at the most famous festivals. Neel is an Italian DJ, producer and composer who has been long known as part of Voices From The Lake together with Donato Dozzy, and as a solo artist he takes techno to deep, atmospheric regions, keenly assembled tracks for a style expressed well on his solo album of 2012 “Phobos”. Neel performs both mesmerizing live shows as well as a wonderfully atmospheric DJ set like tonight. Excellent support is provided by our basement techno resident Reka.
