Tresor Meets Secretsundaze
Sat 25 October 2014 - 23:59

Secretsundaze is a 360° London venture comprising of party, label and agency, run by Giles Smith and James Priestley. Beginning in 2002 as a colorful daytime party that has seen the likes of Moodymann, Four Tet and Recardo Villalobos sharing their underground tendencies, over the years the reputation stretched towards excellence and revealed the inevitable thought: expand. Records were pressed and found themselves in DJ boxes the world over, and with The Secret Agency they founded their own in-house operation. From the TSA roster the gentlemen have invited Delano Smith. The Detroiter has an extensive 2014 release list: a triple album plus a double EP full of dubby, deep dubhouse was presented to humanity via Sushitech. From this zone, in this night, his DJ set. Whob whob. On the Tresor Floor: there are many ways to describe Cisco Ferreira aka The Advent: “a force of nature” is our favorite. The trained sound engineer breathes techno like a finely-tuned auto and after almost 30 years in the business he still has the passion of five 22-year old up-and-coming DJs. Our expectations for his powerful live set are of course at the highest levels… On his side our dear friend, Tresor Records label giant and rave god Joey Beltram, without whom techno would probably have steered in alternate directions; Glasgow DJ and frequent basement guest Joseph McGeehan and our experienced resident T.A.G. – unbelievable!
