Sweat Lodge is a very cool Berlin-based universe of musical talent, networking within a spectrum of booking agency, label, event management and radio. They also happen to be good friends of ours and their regular Sweat Lodge nights in our home have become the stuff of club buzz and quality electronica. Washerman is the solo project of Gianni Siravo who used to record as one half of Azuni. From their early releases on the excellent Drumpoet Community label, Azuni gained huge success and created a global fan base with several releases and remixes. Washerman also runs his own vinyl label called Deep Down Slam Records, releasing house music of different flavours. Ralf Schmidt aka Aera is a young DJ who started his own label Aleph Music in 2010. Aera has made a name for himself with his intense and versatile live sets but he is also a knowledgeable and versatile DJ, with a deep record collection and skills to match. Bastian Volker is Baaz, a DJ and producer from Germany; and Adam Marshall is a very compelling DJ from Canada with diverse tendencies ranging from minimal to electro to quite infectious spacey groove. In Tresor: Antigone is a young artist whose work is at the “avant-garde” of the French techno scene. Educated to digging since his childhood in the Synchrophone’s records racks, he is open to a wide spectrum even if he is resolutely techno. Thanks to his Forbidden Work EP on Construct Re-Form, this brilliant producer drawn the attention around him. Quickly noticed by some Parisian promoters, he’s making his first steps at Concrete. Less than a year after his debut, he had his first gig at Rex Club. Vault Series label head Subjected joins in this highly innovative basement line-up, proving that the label is overwhelmingly aspiring as a contemporary techno platform. Also on the decks is Escape To Mars, a very underground DJ on the distinguished family of Zero2Nine artists and the Modul label.
