The basement Tresor Floor welcomes the Munich artists Dario and Marco Zenker aka the Zenker Brothers back to the decks. Ilian Tape was founded in 2007 by the Zenker Brothers together with Mueller. Dario & Marco are responsible for the musical part, while Mueller does all the graphic work. The label has picked up substantial international artists and tonight the Zenker Brothers once again share the decks with label collaborator and Berlin artist Regen, to add some Berlin techno flair. Firmly settled in his adopted hometown of Berlin, British Producer, DJ and label operator Ed Davenport has slowly yet surely built a career in electronic music . He runs his own label, Counterchange Recordings, co-runs the historic Infrastructure New York imprint with Function, and releases music under his Inland guise. Having cut his teeth on the London scene and released a handful of well-received 12”s, Ed Davenport is driven by a sense of the timelessness of great music and continues to hone a sound that is at once emotional, engaging, and expansive. His collaboration with Function is a fruitful partnership both in the studio and behind the decks, and Infrastructure is set to release more material from Function/Inland in early 2015. It’s clear Ed Davenport‘s mission to represent quality, timeless music is only just beginning.
