Alessio Armeni aka Freddy K has invited several prominent guests for this night’s edition of his Unbroken (booking agency) series, besides manning the decks himself for a terrific set. In 2010 Freddy K started the label Key Records, was a partner on M_Rec LTD as well as his artist management K1971. He delivers techno under many nuances and colours: dark, classic, solid, experimental, minimal, hardcore, acid. His music culture builds an energetic and elegant mix of deep surprises and swindle textures with a constant originality and creative experience. Tonight once again Freddy K invites Finnish artist Samuli Kemppi. In terms of stylistic pluralism, Samuli is a key figure. One of his former projects is the label-making of his radio show Deep Space Helsinki on Basso Radio which from the beginning operated with Juho Kusti, then evolved from the aforementioned radio show to a party and finally since 2012 as record label. The intent is conceivably just as simple as complex: full control, no compromises, anything is possible – and the same is true for Kemppi‘s DJ sets. Unbroken artist Héctor Oaks was born in Madrid and now lives in Berlin. He is a young artist who is enjoying a lot of success both as a DJ and as a producer. Héctor Oaks continues to increase in recent years by releasing on labels like Key Vinyl, Quant Records, Sonntag Morgen and Par Recordings. Irakli Kiziria and Yacoub Chakarji aka I/Y produce “machine sounds for sensible minds”. Described as elegant and warm, the mystery and hypnotic tendencies of I/Y’s set will envelope you. Tonight the +4Bar re-opens with a terrific trio behind the decks, headed off by Ark. Seen as the pioneer of the new experimental/minimal house style in France over ten years ago with releases on Brif, Ark has gone on to collaborate with and inspire a multitude of today’s established and rising stars across Europe and the world. From his origins as guitarist in a number of 80’s funk bands, most notably Trankilou, where he hooked up with the legend that is Pepe Bradock and onto the great Matthew Herbert & LoSoul with their first collaboration, ‘Belle Lurette’ in ’99. Ark‘s 2005 Long Player on Perlon, ‘Caliente’ won him critical acclaim, his new album “Arkpocalypse Now” (Perlon) came out on May 2010, and his latest solo EP “Arkuarium” (Thema021) on October. Fellow French artist Yakine began with a 2008 Esperanza release and eventually fell into a residency for the Weirdo Magnet parties at Rex Club, cementing him in the new emerging Paris house music scene. In November 2008 his first EP came out on the label Esperanza followed by other releases on the labels Eklo, Je t’aime records and Circus Company. Pablo Tarno is a house DJ and producer currently based in Berlin who runs Finest Hour Records together with Onirik. His DJ sets and productions draw influences from many different artists/labels, creating a wide spectrum of styles and influences that make for bristling dancefloor experiences.
