Tresor New Faces
Wed 19 June 2019 - 23:59

Italian DJ DJ-309 released a digital 10-track full-length album on Obscuur Records last October, titled “Ghost Station”. Obscuur Records is an Utrecht, Netherlands-based independent record label focused on harsh techno sounds. He is also affiliated with Raw, Solution and KR/LF Records. DJ-309 also contributed the track “In Seattle” for the V.A. compilation published on Kloster Recordings. VIL is a DJ and producer from Lisbon, Portugal. An organic entity who explores a textural ground that is based on daily inspirations from Techno, Electro and Breakbeat. In his productions and DJ sets he creates and dissipates tension, leading us through an intense, uncertain grey path from the future, where energy flows side by side with melody. VIL is also one of the minds behind Hayes Collective. Tresor resident Mario Berger welcomes and hosts these New Faces artists tonight. Mario’s sets are a blend of major influences of artists like James Ruskin, Surgeon, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood or Luke Slater and labels like Underground Resistance, Downwards, Basic Channel and Tresor Records. With Alex Kowalski, mostly under his d_func moniker, Mario has an ongoing studio collaboration which has been resulting in releases and remixes on different labels, such as Torque, Paranoid Dancer, Damage Music and others.
