Tresor New Faces
Wed 08 June 2016 - 23:59

Over the years Coldgeist has developed a forward thinking sound which oscillates between light and obscurity. Deeply influenced by the post-punk scene, he gives a lot of importance to the experimentation in order to offer a sound built around three principles: minimalist, cyclic and atmospheric. Aside from live performances he also runs his own label “Ritual Process” which provides a further podium for his work and some interesting collaborations as with In Aeternam Vale or Alexey Volkov. Since 2015, Coldgeist explores the shamanic and dreamy side of techno as “Modern Eleven” releasing his debut album on Annulled Music. The mysterious and futuristic project Côme first appeared in 2011, thriving on the musical radicalism and avant-garde of the electronic and industrial scenes of the 80/90’s. His main inspiration comes from USA and Europe, he is influenced by artists and labels like Trent Reznor and NIN, Jeff Mills and Underground Resistance in Detroit or Downwards records in Birmingham. Since 2015, Côme is the half of the French label Ritual Process, an hybrid entity focusing on the links between post-punk, noise, cold-wave from one side and minimalistic music from the other. These two emerging French talents are welcomed and hosted by our skilled resident Reka.
